This will be a tightly moderated group, only open to those with a serious interest in amateur radio, the general discussion of the hobby, and its many technicalities... The simple guidelines are as follows:-

1. You are welcome to discuss any subject at all, providing it has some small relevance (or starts with) to amateur radio.

2. Heated debate is welcome, but not slanging matches.

3. If you have a callsign, then you should be proud of it, so please use it in your postings to the group.

4. Postings and membership of the group is only open to those using their real name within their postings.

5. Bad language is not acceptable here. I am no prude, I have worked in plenty of environments where it is normal, and I can use it with the best, but in relation to the discussion of an hobby it is not welcome.

6. Private for sales and wanted etc., are of course welcome, but not any form of profit motivated use of this group.

7. Please treat those posting questions with a little courtesy. Remember we have all asked foolish questions at some time, and we all possess differing areas of expertise. Sharing of expertise at a variety of levels, is one of the primary reasons for joining a group such as this one.

8. Any reported collection of email addresses by any member for spam purposes, will result in termination of that members subsciption to this group.

The group is a democratic one, so it is open to suggestions of ammendment to of any of the above guidelines.
