The United Kingdom Objectivist Association (UKOA) was established in 1989 to facilitate contacts between UK based Objectivists and to encourage the spread of Objectivism - the philosophy of Ayn Rand.
Currently, most UKOA activity is co-ordinated online but future plans involve:
A regular newsletter providing members with details of local gatherings and national conferences.
The promotion of the Anthem, The Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged essay competitions [for more information see the website of the Ayn Rand Institute.]
The establishment and co-ordination of university societies throughout the UK.
Membership is restricted to UK based Objectivists and those with a genuine interest in Ayn Rand and her revolutionary philosophy.
