UCH is a Homeschool Support Group designed for Christian families who live in Spartanburg, Polk County, and Tryon areas of the Carolinas. We support each other through prayer, a discussion board and field trips.

Our discussion board is for homeschooling parents on homeschool topics. For example: curriculum thoughts and/or questions, free links to educational sites, upcoming events, promoting shared educational classes, questions a hs'ing parent may need help with, and many other topics dealing with hs'ing or hs'ing families are appropriate on this board. Posting items for sale (unless it is homeschool related) is not permitted, no FWD emails including chain letters, spam, attachments (this group is not set up to receive attachments) and no vulgar language. Please refer to Snopes.com before passing on emails that are questionable.

This group is family led, so if you would like to plan a field trip, party or any other event for homeschoolers we encourage you to do so and use the board to promote the event.

The UCH loop is designed for families looking for support through communication with other local homeschooling families. It is expected and further required that members behave in a manner reflecting the love of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is our prayer that you find something here that will uplift and encourage you on your journey into home schooling.
