The SEC is a fellowship of God-Loving Hierarchs and Jurisdictions of the Valid Apostolic Succession and Orthodox Faith.

The SEC was established at New York City in 1951 (10 years before SCOBA and the present Episcopal Assemble). It is moderated by Bishop +MICHAEL of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church under the Patriarchate of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine.
