Originally founded as a more personal alternative to file-sharing programs and based on exchanging tracks by email, Tweedlee Dum's Drive-In has evolved over the years to take advantage of the web space at it's homepage. Although new members are briefly moderated to eliminate spam, conversation here is otherwise unmoderated and music-based chat of any description is encouraged. We generally concentrate on records, particularly singles, that have not been reissued in the CD age and are currently unavailable. It's a place where you can post a 'wants' list or mail the group and request a particular track. It's also the place to come when you're just bursting to share a newly discovered gem. Hopefully we'll be sharing rock'n'roll, teen pop, doowop, novelties, instrumentals, folk rock, surf, garage, girl group, sunshine pop, bubblegum, psychedelia and everything in between. We aim to shorten ‘wants’ lists and celebrate unsung classics.
