Most of our neighborhoods have local Neighborhood Watch programs. With these, a phone-tree is used to notify members of important and safety related events, such as break-ins, vandalism, etc. These are great, except it seems that the phone-tree seems to frequently break-down (people on vacation, busy, etc.), and the details of the event being passed by word-of-mouth can get confused or dropped. And getting new info into the tree means that you have to find the right person to call. To help out, This list was created to augment and support these neighborhood watches, making it easier and quicker to get the information passed. TUCKER NOTICES is a closed group and email mailing list, through which neighborhood information may be exchanged. It is closed to avoid non-residents from generating spam to the group. However, anyone from the area is free to join. TUCKER NOTICES provides a quick, secure and automated way to share important local information.
