Description

This is the information and discussion forum for the Kannagara Tsubaki Sukeikai (Membership Group) of Tsubaki Grand Shrine of America. http://www.TsubakiShrine.org

All things and beings in the Universe are the sacred creation of the Kami and are capable of leading joyful productive lives --to live compassionate lives in harmony with Kamis Will by being grateful each day for the precious gift of life.......by contrast it is becoming more and more obvious that to ignore the natural laws of Heaven and Earth is arrogant, short sighted and ultimately self -destructive. To follow Great Nature (and Sarutahiko Okami, Earthly Kami who protects and guides) we can progress in harmony with Divine Nature.

Basic of Shinto is to follow/harmonize with the ceaseless movements of Great (Divine) Nature. Shinto means the study of the cycles of Heaven, Earth and Great Nature...our human lives exist as part of a great web of life...sustained and nurtured by Great Nature.

Shinto focuses on practices meant bring us into accord with Great Nature and our own Life Missions. As Shinto has the continious history from prehistoric times to the present and into the future, Jinja Shinto can help reconnect us to our primal intuitive roots while the purifying straightening and invigorating action can help us to meet the challenges of the present and future.

The Shinto Shrine is an enriched environment where Divine Nature’s Life Giving Forces are commemorated like parents. The Shrine is a place where all things in Nature gather together and their hearts and substance purified and renewed. The Shinto Shrine is a place where one can ask for guidance for one’s life exactly as one asks a parent for help.

The Shinto Shrine is a place of Matsuri or festival.
