The purpose of this group is to discuss the Best Coastal Voyaging Motor Yachts Under 40 ft, to operate at displacement speeds of around 8 knots, with the goal of achieving superior value and of having many of them built for group members. In order to make the BCVMY40D suitable for The Great Loop, the maximum length as measured for moorage purposes shall not exceed 40 feet and the maximum width shall not exceed 14 feet. The bridge clearance shall not exceed 15 feet.
