This group is dedicated to "True Street" Mustang racing
as described in official "FFW","NMRA" "NMCA" rulebooks. It is also a great place to talk Mustang racing in general and tech.
For those unfamiliar, True Street involves a tech inspection for safety equipment and all street equipment.Then all the cars go on a 30 mile road cruise then come back for a 30 minute cool down period where you cannot open the hood. At this point all cars make 3 passes and an average of the times determines who is the winner. There is usually prizes for the quickest car, then the lowest 10 sec car,11 sec car,12 sec car and so on. If your car doesn't fit into any of the other classes, more than likely you fit in True Street. This is a place to share ideas,
discuss the class/ideas and basically have fun. Since this is a
no-point/small payout class and you are running for a
trophy and bragging rights (and usually some ink in the magazines), it shouldn't be difficult to
keep things light and fun.
