This is the Lawrenceville, GA Troop 501 yahoo group. The purpose of this group is to facilitate effective communications between the troop leadership and the parents of the scouts involved in the troop. This communication is not intended to replace the 'patrol method' and the communication through the boy leadership structure, but rather to keep the parents informed of troop activities so they can be supportive of and involved in their son's scouting experience.

This group is not intended to be a 'feedback forum.' Messages in the forum are moderated, and are intended to be specific to activities of the troop. All messages will be reviewed before they are posted to the group. If you have questions about troop activities or troop leadership, please address these with the leaders involved.
