Future possibilities: Historical or neo-Victorian fictions? Anne Jameson, Diary of an Ennuyee Jerry White, London in the 19th century. Trollope's Castle Richmond, Geraldine Jewsbury, The Half-Sister. Mary Shelley's Rambles Germany and Italy in 1840, Volumes 1 & 2.

Movies: 19th century books on and film adaptations and historical movies set in or about the long 19th century, including but not limited to the 1974 Pallisers, scripted by Simon Ravenl the 2004 Bleak House, scripted by Andrew Davies.
