The objective of this Triangle Vedanta Group server is to stimulate interest and enrich our understanding of the Hindu religion and its philosophical foundation. This latter is Vedanta. Vedanta is the end or the essence of Vedas. It's the knowledge portion of the Vedas which consists of Upanishadas. So regardless of whether you are a Vaishnava, a Shakta, an Arya Samaji, a Shaivite, or a devotee of Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission, a follower of Sai Baba, and so on, you are a Vedantin. You are welcome to join. Besides, a Buddhist, a Sikh, or a Jaini has a lot common with a Hindu, and therefore, they too are welcome to join. The only condition is that no politics will be discussed here. We invite any spiritual or religious message that will interest the group and will expect some comments from the members. Any announcement that you want to make, please send it directly to the moderator and not to the group.

Another objective of this server-group is to initiate a friendly dialogue with those who don't practice any of the religions mentioned above. For after all Hinduism doesn't claim the monopoly of Truth. Nor does it say that holiness, purity and sublimity are limited only among the Hindus. Other religions are equally great. So anyone is welcome and let us know that the messages posted here tally with the truths spoken in their own scriptures. Only through such interactions we can go beyond mere tolerance, and create better understanding among people of different faiths and evolve a peaceful society.
