Founded in 1997, TransGender Michigan is dedicated to improving the lives of transgender individuals in Michigan. Our goal is "To strive for social justice and equality for transgender individuals and significant others, family, friends, and allies (SOFFAs) through education, support and advocacy."

The TransGender_Michigan Yahoo Group is not intended to be a venue for those seeking dates or sexual encounters. It is intended to be a forum for transgender people and their significant others, family, friends, and allies to chat with one another and find support on the issues that are important to them. Personal ads that are romantic or sexual in nature will not be tolerated.
