Hello! So you have some 1/72 plastic or metal figures in you collection that are just gathering dust? Hmmm, you really are looking to find that one particular officer figure to finish that HäT 1805 French Battalion? Got half a box of a Victrix Flank Company lonely on the sprue? Or heck, just want to help someone else get there collection going, being that you're a nice guy or gal?

Well this is the place for you!

This group is for those of us who want a place where we can 'meet' in a casual manner and do a little swapping, maybe a spot of begging, and hopefully a bit of giving. We've all done eBay and it is great for what it is, but I wish to emulate, via the virtual world, the neighborhood hobby shop, a place where we can get together and chat and maybe go home with a little something new. The idea for this was spawned at the Hat website(www.hat.com)on their forum as a way for people to find good homes for their orphan figures.

The general focus of the group began with 1/72 and or 20mm scale figures, but given such things as the recent influx of 28mm plastics and that we wargamers and collectors tend to have a variety of interests, likes and dislikes(we are a fickle lot), feel free to offer up other items.

Now I have just a few little rules I would like you wonderful people to follow. First, as this site is based on the idea of trading or giving, please do your best to stay within this spirit by refraining from purely financial transactions. Trades first! Now, I understand this is no perfect world and not everything works out as planned so if you go and PM someone with a money offer for some rare Revell Prussian Hussars, fine, just please keep the group messages uncluttered with such offers. Second, be on your best behavior. Be honest with the handling of your trades; don't take advantage of someone who may not know better. If you think someone is getting ripped off, let them know! Lets keep it fair and above the belt!
