Description

This group is for all descendants from PUGH and allied lines and for others who believe that they may connect with PUGH lines through their research, including DNA analysis. This group was established to provide a forum where researchers can share information, including the latest developments on how DNA testing is impacting genealogical research. Some of our members are involved in the Pugh Surname DNA Project currently underway at FTDNA and we are beginning to see some very exiting results. Click here to see our data summary. In addition to those known to be of lines with the PUGH surname and all of its variants (PEW, PEUGH, POUGH, PUE, APHUGH, APHEW, HUGHES, etc.) we wish to invite those who believe they may be closely related to a PUGH line, possibly through the results of DNA testing and analysis. This invitation extends to all people, those from the United States, Wales, England, Scotland, Canada, and Australia; just to name a few places where the surname can be found.

The inset photo is on loan from a BBC site. It is an aerial view of Bala from Valley Stream Media Developments, Conwy, and The Gwilym Davies Aerial Photo Collection. You can find many more photos and volumes of information on the northwest area of Wales, by visiting Wales Northwest a BBC site.

Re: DNA-Haplogroup: H, a subgroup of R0--Europe 100%
I had my testing and had no problems putting on Ancestry.com. I just had to enter each value manually. Albert S Pugh IV From:
