Description

This group is dedicated to collecting and preserving the history of toy boats and outboard motors. While most people in the group will be interested in the K&O Models, Inc., toy outboard motors from the 1950s and early 1960s I'm not limiting this group to that subject. I would rather it be a broad spectrum group. Feel free to talk about Toy boats (inboard or outboard), Model boats like Fleetline, Dumas, Sterling, ITO, AMPS, Orkin Craft, Langcraft, Lionel Craft, Monogram, Revell, Rico, etc., Toy outboard motors of whatever type like battery operated, gas, windup, static display, by whomever made especially K&O, Alterscale, Toyoutboards.com, Freshwater Models, Langcraft, Orkincraft, generic motors, Graupner, Aristocraft, Rico, Robbe, Allyn Sea Fury, Wen Mac, Irwin, Lindstrom, etc. Also, you are welcome to talk about Real Outboard motors and your collection of them. We all would love to see pictures of your real motors and there's no reason to limit yourself to just Evinrude, Mercury, Johnson, Gale, Buccaneer, Oliver, Martin, Mariner, Caille, Lockwood, Elto or Scott-Atwater. Feel free to talk about New Products you would like to see made also. If you have a toy boat or motor that you are looking to sell or are trying to buy feel free to ask the group if they have one for sale or trade. If you have a complaint about a manufacturer or person just please use discretion with regard to language and keep it in a fun spirit, if possible. Basically, I'm looking to form a broad minded group who will use this forum as a source to easily communicate with other collectors with anything on their mind.
Thank you!
Bob McDonald.
I also have a website dedicated to toy and real outboard motors. Please visit it at: www.ToyOutboardMotors.com
