Purpose and Vision

Touch Compass Dance Trust is a charitable organisation providing performances and training for people of all abilities.

The trust aims to break down physical and psychological barriers so all people who have a passion for dance can.

It aims to empower participants and inspire audiences through mixed ability dance that combines dancers with and without a disability.


Objectives

• Raise society's awareness and understanding of mixed ability dance
• Present stage performances that are enjoyable, challenging and memorable
• Provide educational dance programmes, workshops and classes
• Enable dancers to discover their own creativity and expression
• Offer professional development training for teachers of mixed ability dance
• Advocate for new mixed ability dance opportunities.
