Cat knocking things down eh?  We have the same problems here in our
house....three cats, and one of them is cluts! LOL  It's actually
funny to watch him as he falls asleep on the couch arm, and then
falls off.

By the way...there's a LoTR version of Risk??  oh cool!!

LOL  We use to have one cat that would sit in front of the TV and
try to grab things that were moving on the screen.  It was a riot!

yeah it sucks......i have risk, manopoly, trivial
persute, backgammon (dont mint the spellings on these
things), FOTR & TT games, chess, two expensive games,
a game from the 70s, and just got stratego for
xmas.......the only person i could ever get to play
with me moved 2hr away.....she's being a big dork and
expects me to make the drive if i want to see her ever
time.....some how it's too far for her to drive down
here but not for me to drive up there....i guess my
games can just sit and look pretty.......

I manage to get a good chess game in occationally... sometimes
monopoly and risk when my friends and I get board of the usual
stuff...

Other than that, it's mostly junior games with my Goddaughter or my
future brother-in-law who is only eight years old...

For the commentary on DVD.  I swear, when one of my favorite books is
placed on film, i like to see what the writers were thinking.
Somehow doing this makes me get over my booknaziness and get over the
movies differences.

My favorite part of the commentary was the talking about Imrhail, yes
the recognizing of the existance of one of my favorite characters
made me feel better, of course they said they loved the character too
so i felt vindicated.  However, the Arnold Schwartzenger as Imrahil
joke was a little much for me.

I still wish they mentioned the names of bit characters that have an
identity we can guess at.

There was a mention of Stone Trolls in their somewhere as well, but I
am not sure if those are the names of the type that can endure
sunlight.

I have only watched with the 'cast' comentary running so far.  I
want to watch it with the writers comentary, and then the one with
the special effects people.  That ought to be cool.

No, the Stone Trolls I believe are your run of the mill Trolls for
lack of a better way of putting it.(I think)  The ones I am talking
about had a race name in Elvish(or Mordor speech maybe) like the
Uruk-Hai Orcs for instance.

I still haven't listened to the PJ, Fran and Phillipa commentary...
I especially like the Design Team commentary on all three films

This is my favourite picture. I think Eowyn and Aragorn looked like exactly the
way they are painted here.

The dialogue between them before Aragorn's departure is also one of my most
favourite extracts in the LOTR... I wonder what would be if Aragorn did fall in
love with Eowyn... Watching LOTR I hoped till the last seconds that Arwen would
leave Middle-Earth with Elrond and Aragorn would stay with Eowyn...

At some point they really had to reel themselves back in.  If they
strayed from the book too much they probably would have alienated the
fanbase they had before the first movie hit the screen.

I think i would have went nuts, i still have to skip the scene where
Frodo tells Sam to go home cause that is so OC that i cannot tolerate
it.
