TIRHUT is the historic name of a tract in northern India, now a days it is only the name of one Division of Bihar consistes of 5 Districts.

Tirhut division is an administrative geographical unit of Bihar state of India. Muzaffarpur is the administrative headquarters of the division. Currently (2005), the division consists of West Champaran, also called Bettiah district; East Champaran, also called Motihari district; Muzaffarpur district; Sitamarhi district; Sheohar district; Vaishali district, also called Hajipur district.

Our main motive is to unite the peoples of TIRHUT region to promote ourself to form a Well educated, healthy, cooperative and developed Society.

We have a running website with the name Tirhut and its URL is http://tirhut.com, some other website are also associated with this group.

This is our dream to develop this site as a globle informatic site for Tirhut Reason and in the coming future, we would like to run an a NGO (Non-Government Oroganisation) with this name.
