"What shuts off the world?

On what does the world stand"

By what is the world ensnared?

What besets the world?"

(The Bhagava said:)

" Death shuts off the world.

The world stands on dukkha.

The world is ensnared by Craving.

Ageing besets the world."

End of the Pihita Sutta, the eighth in this vagga.
