Asklepios is the god of medicine and healing. His daughter, Hygeia, is the goddess of good health. This thiasos is dedicated to their worship. The emphasis of the thiasos is on the active worship of Asklepios and Hygeia, however the importance of living up the values and ideals promoted by the deities of medicine and good health will be stressed as the primary way to honor them.
