The place to try to resolve any prolonged interpersonal squabbles that arise among members of the other Theistic Satanism email groups.

Theistic-Satanism-soap-opera is a semi-private forum which you are eligible to join only if (1) you have already posted at least a few messages in at least one of our public forums listed on the above page, and/or (2) you have been invited by one of the moderators, for whatever reason. You should join if either (1) you are involved in a quarrel yourself, either directly or indirectly, or (2) you are interested in helping to resolve other people's quarrels and have relevant skills (e.g. mediation).

This forum's purpose is primarily to resolve personal quarrels among theistic Satanists, and secondarily to resolve personal quarrels between theistic Satanists and Pagans, occultists, or atheistic/symbolic Satanists. Quarrels involving Christians, Muslims, etc. should be discussed in Theistic-Satanists-and-others-3 rather than here.

Rules will be ad hoc and will depend on the moderators' assessment of what is likely to work best in resolving a particular quarrel. In some cases we may allow the combatants to vent. In other cases we may have very strict rules. In some cases, posts after April 4, 2006 may be subject to ex post facto deletion. In all cases, we ask participants to focus not on issues of moment-to-moment "fairness" but rather on determining what the central problems are and figuring out how to solve them if possible.

All posts to this forum should be considered confidential and should not be forwarded to other forums except with the permission of all persons quoted.
