This is a group for those who live in or have an interest in yurts. Yurts, or "gers" are the traditional round-house tents of Mongolia. ONLY yurt-related postings are allowed. Some leeway will be given to connected topics, such as tipis, homesteading, wood heating, etc. The ONLY solicitation allowed will be for the buying, selling or trading of yurt-related products. Please feel free to list your oriental rugs, pot-bellied stoves, etc. here. Now let's talk yurts!

Hi there, I'm not that experienced with yurts, but I think I know where your problem is coming from. Yurts with round rings always have the rafters directly

Ok got to see some better photos of the ring.. It is very very hard to get "even" pressure from the ring at the best of times. You have used an octagon type
