This is a place for Iowan's to meet other Iowan's or just anyone who would like to learn more about Iowa and/or just chat. Join the group, relax and enjoy and get to know others interested in Iowa. Please keep your posts clean, as this group is for all ages.

Discussion of local Iowa issues, or questions about the Iowa are welcome. Posting of related political issues or reports from state representatives is welcome, and encouraged for discussion and to allow people from Iowa to be aware of state politics and issues and those interested in learning about our state.

No spaming will be allowed on the group. Group is actively moderated. You first few posts well be moderated after you join the group. Posting Spam to the group after you have been allowed to post without being moderated is the easiest way to be band from the group. Iowa businesses are welcome to join and post information about their business, and is not included in the no Spam band.

Members email setting on this group should at least be set to “Special Notice“, you don't have to receive posts via email but you can. If you haven't set them that way they will be set that way by default as I review the membership list.
