This group replaces the Dead Pirates of Phandom group which was deleted by a hacker on Feb 19th, 2005. We are based in the southeast United States (GA, NC, FL, SC, MS, AR primarily). We formed during the time of Magnum Opus Con in the early 1990's.

Our group consists of two parts - a physical group and an online component. The physical group's members are sponsored by existing members and voted on by the physical group members. The online group is open to the physical group and to those friends of the Dead Pirates we have met over the years thru various cons and other contacts.

The group is growing by leaps and bounds. As we grow, we need to be looking at our next group gatherings. Does anyone have suggestions for a con where everyone can get together or do we want to just get together somewhere - not necessarily an Un Con type gathering.
