This group is based on the writing topics that come from the non-profit webpage:
WritingFix.org
They always say to write every day, if you plan to be a real writer. Easier said than done, but I do try; sometimes I'm lucky to write 3 or 4 days a week in my writers' notebook. I mean, let's be honest. The hardest part for me is to find the time...or a topic that intrigues me.
This group provides daily writing topics to group members. If the topic inspires you, consider it your daily writing exercise. If group members particularly like what they write on certain days, they are invited to post their writing for other members to enjoy.
What I hope everyone remembers is that daily practice writing doesn't have to move mountains. It's just practice, it's play, it's RECESS. We are here to have fun with words and concepts.
On
Sundays each week, six topics for the week will be posted and/or e-mailed to group members. Pick and choose your favorites, attack them all at once, or just write to one! The idea here, folks, is to write more. That's all.
On
Sundays, I will also post one, two, or three e-mail submissions from group users who were inspired from the previous week's prompts. These have been posted by authors who might genuinely like some constructive feedback. If you want your writing to be considered for this kind of posting, e-mail it before Saturday, midnight, to: The_Daily_Topic@yahoogroups.com.
