Description

March- 31, 2006. A date in firearms history that I will not forget anytime soon.

It is the day that production of probably the best known Lever action rifles of all time came to an end. The Winchester Model 94 lever action. Designed by John Browning this was the best selling rifle ever produced by Winchester, and the first to be marketed for smokeless powder. A rifle with a record like no other rifle.

This is a group for the admirers of the legendary Winchester 94, and just the Winchester Model 94.

I am sure that you can tell I am a fan of the rifle. I also have many good memories of using a Winchester 94. These are the reasons I started this group to connect with other 94 owners, and collectors.

Please feel free to post your pictures, and experiences with this great rifle.

Most of the areas around here are national parks where it is illegal to carry a side arm while hunting. On private lands, where there are no restrictions, I

Do you "pack" while carrying your M94?
Yes, because I can do it legally and pistols are simply too handy not to have one around. Where we go, there are supposed to be mountain lions, and a good S&W

I did not in the past carry a sidearm with me while hunting or woodsloafing if I had my Winchester with me. I figured that if I could not solve an equation
