The War of 1812 discussion list is a forum to discuss the politics and history of the events leading up to, and including the military action in the War of 1812 in North America. It is also a forum for easy discussion and sharing of information between reenactors involved in this war.

Discussion and debate on issues is allowed and welcome, even when there is disagreement, and the quote above usually comes from unintelligent persons who cannot explain ideas or justify opinions. As adults, we can engage in mature debate. Personal attacks should be avoided, but other than that, healthy dialogue is encouraged.
