The Spoken Word Poetry Series was a poetry reading founded by Sam "So What" Grabelle in October 1992 and kept the fires of poetry burning in the hearts of Providence poets every Tuesday for over 13 years.
Although The Spoken Word as a reading is no more, the bonds of community we forged along that journey will always remain.
Therefore this mailgroup shall continue for so long as we who have lost our poetic virginity to 1-2-3 and carmine's problems counting wish to use it to maintain our ties of fellowship.
