“Aotearoa Liberators – The Cuba – NZ  Poster Project”

Initiated by Xavier Meade – a Mexican New Zealander, designed by Aotearoa New Zealand Artists and printed in Cuba this is an exciting collaboration where “Liberators” is interpreted in a mythical, social and activist sense.

 

Artists include:

Xavier Meade,  Josh Watene, Jenny Rhodes, Dion Hitchens, James Ormsby, Tessa Laird, Katerina Mataira, Simon Cuming, Leafa Wilson, Warren Olds and Nicola Farquhar.

 

There are twelve posters in a limited edition set of 10. Five of these sets have already gone to public institutions including Te Papa and the New Dowse. There will also be a small number of single Artist Proof prints for sale. Xavier is coming down from the Waikato and will give a short talk.
