"The Other Queers" are people born different. We are neuro-minorities; people with autism, Asperger's syndrome, ADHD, etc. We don't believe we're disordered or defective. We want to tell you who we are.

This group was started by a small group of auties who are also gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. We want to start a dialog between the two "communities." That dialog can begin with an exploration into the many parallels between those two groups, and can go wherever the members choose to take this discussion.

Any interested parties may join, but special invitation is extended to members of the GLBT community not on the autistic spectrum, and to autistic spectrum individuals who aren't LGBT.
