THE GROUP OF TWENTY & THE EVOLUTION OF GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

In 1994 when I covered my first global meeting, there was a press briefing by the Commission on Global Governance on their forthcoming report, Our Global Neighborhood. The man giving the briefing was one of the co-chairs, Sir Shridath Ramphal who was not only president of Guyana but also president of the (British) Commonwealth Association. As I read the glossy brochure, I thought he meant “global government” to which he replied “No, no, no we mean global governance.” When I asked about a global currency, he laughed and said, “No, not for a long time.”

The meeting recently held n Pittsburgh comprised the third meeting of the heads of state and finance ministers from the Group of Twenty nations: the developed countries led by the United States, Canada, Great Britain, France, Italy, Japan, Russia and Germany and the top developing countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, and Turkey, as well as the European Union. Together, they represent 85% of the world’s Gross Domestic Product-GDP and 80% of world trade.

The Group of Eight-G8 began meeting in 1973 when Richard Nixon called together the leaders of four countries to determine how the world would be run economically now that he had put the world currencies on a floating basis when he removed the last ties the dollar had to gold in 1971. A formal meeting was held in 1975 in France with five countries and soon it was seven countries known as the Group of Seven until 1998 when Russia was officially admitted. Since 1975, whatever decision these seven or eight countries came to was law and if the rest of the countries of the world knew what was good for them, they would follow suit. In short, the Group of Eight acted as a “Global Board of Directors” for the world. Over the years, they expanded their purview to include every facet of government: labor, education, transportation, trade, housing, finance and the environment.

Under their auspices, the floating exchange between countries was perfected to the point where it was easy to raid any countries currency which did not do what they were suppose to do as mandated by the strong countries, there was the oil crises of the 1970s, and the fall of the shah of Iran who was the peacekeeper of the Middle East. The final pieces were added to the international infrastructure: the World Trade Organization, the regional groups like the European Union and the Free Trade Areas of the Americas, the International Criminal Court, and the tearing down of economic barriers between the countries of the world by calling on the U.S. to repeal the Glass-Steagall Act in 1999.

In 1998, the Group of Eight decided to become more integrated as they deviated from just economic concerns to the daily concerns that each country faces: health, education, growth, trade, etc. Tony Blair talked about the need to work together on all these issues so that each country could help each other and they could learn from one another. This is called integration, not advice. The final Communiqué which the G8 issued (then the G5) in 1975 was just a few pages to over one thousand pages in some years. Indeed they became a venue of “global governance.”

As a result of the 2007-2009 Credit Crisis, it was former President George Bush who called together the leaders of the developing countries to meet with the leaders of the developed countries last November. They instantaneously became their own powerhouse. At the second meeting in London this past April, they empowered the International Monetary Fund with $1.1T including a new offering of Special Drawing Rights-SDRs and they changed the Financial Stability Forum to the Financial Stability Board and greatly empowered its structure by giving them a plenary structure and several Steering Committees. The Financial Stability Board is part of the growing architectural pieces at the Bank for International Settlement in Basel, Switzerland.

In an interview with Professor John Kirton of the University of Toronto who heads up the unofficial secretariat of the Group of Eight and Twenty, he said of global governance, “It has come to mean, steering, shaping the global order through processes. Not only government of nation-states assisted by intergovernmental organizations, but a broad array of actors that have an important and legitimate place.” When I asked about how they and their roles had changed, he responded that the G20 had “institutionalized itself in an integrated way with the G8 so that next year in Canada, there would be a coming together of the two global governance institutions.” It was announced in Pittsburgh, that next year the G20 would meet at the same time that the G8 meets on economic issues. The G8 will continue their oversight of all other issues they currently govern. This is no small feat. Does anyone really understand the magnitude of what is happening?

When I asked Professor Kirton about the evolution of definitions of global governance since 1994 when we first met, he said, “Yes, there are many definitions for a global community [to be] attracted to a global concept. [You have the] command hierarchy in sovereign nation-states, [then there is] a middle range – a guiding steering process when more formal institutions are necessary but a broad array of actors from civil society have an important place.” In other words, the global level is to be guided by civil society which includes non-governmental organizations, “celebrity diplomacy” created by the rock star, Bono, and others.

In fact, Professor Kirton was adamant that the United Nations has seen its day since they have been unable to respond to a changing world. He pointed to the UN Security Council which has the same five permanent members in today’s world and that it does not even include Japan (G8 member) or China and any of the other developing countries.

The truth of the matter is that the coming together of the major developing countries with the G8 is a turning point in world history. If Bush is copying Nixon who created the G8, the truth of the matter is that we have continued to have serious economic crises. But it also points to a stronger power over the nation-states: the presidents and prime ministers who will ask their governments to implement what they have agreed to. It does point to a world governmental structure in which the laws of the nation-states have and are being changed to conform to what is agreed to on the global level. It leaves out the poor countries of the world which have no voice in this newly empowered governance structure.

It also points to a shift in world power. As you study the economics of the G20, they have a total GDP of $47T and public debt of $29T or 63%. Now we can talk all we want about global governance, interdependence, etc. but the truth of the matter is that there is more than one way to conquer a country. In the old days, it was a physical invasion, brute force, end of story. But in today’s electronic society, it is through banking, the stock exchange, the bond exchange, and the derivatives market. Basically, there has been no physical invasion, no black helicopters and no physical carnage. Today, it is debt. What difference does it make if the house has no or little equity versus the finances of a country? The Group of Twenty is indebted to the central bankers of the world. The agenda of the United Nations, the G8 or the G20 is basically a front for the real powers that run the world: the central banks which are private corporations that lend money to governments by printing it.

The bottom line: the United Nations and the G8 have not brought or kept world peace, they have not prevented war and neither have they improved the finances of any country. Furthermore, they have not improved the state of the world either. The only thing they have done is set up an infrastructure that reduces the power and sovereignty of the nation-state. In essence they have de-stabilized the world. Who really runs the country and the world? He who has the gold makes the rules and it is not governments!

HOW SAFE ARE YOUR DRINKING & AGRICULTURE WATER SUPPLIES?

CITY OF WEST SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA WATER QUALITY INFORMATION FROM JUST ONE WATER DISTRICT

Drinking water quality is of primary importance to every citizen in the United States. The story below is just one of many being played out across the United States today. We all need to know what is in our drinking water and how it relates to public health. Everyone has the right to know what is in their drinking water not only at the drinking water tap, but what is in the water that irrigates our food crops and that our animals drink. We need to know just how safe bottled water is, if plastic baby bottles are safe, and if plastic water containers (and tin can linings), are leaching contaminants into the water we drinking.

Recently the Agriculture Defense Coalition obtained information regarding water quality in the City of West Sacramento, California, from the California State Department of Health, Drinking Water Division, in Sacramento, California. The State of California is the repository of all drinking water tests for every public water supply facility or public well in California. (The data is on CD and is free of charge to anyone who requests this information under the California Public Records Act.)

Stunned by the results of this inquiry it became very important that the public using this water for drinking and irrigation be informed of the startling results of this ongoing investigation. Clearly, even from the data in the 2008 West Sacramento “Consumer Confidence Report,” it is imperative that everyone who receives this water be informed of the alleged dangers in using this water for drinking, cooking, bathing, crop irrigation, and yard watering.

The following quote, written in microscopic size in their brochure, is from the 2008 West Sacramento Water Quality Report:

‘IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR IMMUNO-COMPROMISED PERSONS”

“Some people may be more vulnerable to contaminants in drinking water than the general population; immune-compromised persons such as persons with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, persons who have undergone organ transplants, people with HIV/AIDS or other immune system disorders, some elderly, and infants can be particularly at risk from infections. These people should seek advice about drinking water from their health care providers…”

“DRINKING WATER CONTAMINANTS”

“All drinking water, including **bottled water, may reasonably be expected to contain at least small amounts of some contaminants. The presence of contaminants does not necessarily indicate that the water poses a health risk...”[2]

*Please note: The water tests results in the City of West Sacramento 2008 report are not current, but represent 2007 water test results. In some case this is summarized data and not actual test results. Thus, the public is allegedly notified about contaminants in drinking water almost one year after the testing results are known to water districts who provide water to the public. This does not enable the public to protect themselves from any current or ongoing adverse water test results in real time. It means that any exposure to chemicals due to drinking water contaminants may not be reported to hospitals, doctors, the press or the public in real time so that the public can protect themselves or their children.

• It should be noted that vast majority of our health care providers are not experts in drinking water contaminants or what contaminants are found in the thousands of drinking water sources in the State of California or other states. Thus, they would be unable, at any given time, to access these contaminant test results or any threats to public health or their patients from these contaminants.

• The majority of doctors would not know which well, water district, winery, bottled water [4], or other drinking water sources are being used by their patients. Thus, they would not be able to determine medications or drinking water alternatives to their patients.

• The majority of doctors are unaware of the vast array of chemicals found in drinking water sources in the State of California (or other states), or the health effects from these chemicals unless they specialize in this field or are warned by the State of California Department of Health, Drinking Water Division or their local water districts.

• When should water providers advise the public that all drinking water may be expected to contain contaminants? Is the public advised when these contaminants pose a health risk in real time in order to take precautions? Our investigation reveals that the public is not given timely announcements [6]. The City of West Sacramento consumer confidence report does not address these issues except to state that the public should check with health care providers who, for the most part, do not know what chemicals are showing up in drinking water tests or the source of water that is being used by patients, who may be using a variety of sources such as bottled water, well water, or water district water.

• It should also be noted that older and new rice pesticides have the possibility of filtering into this drinking water system at City of West Sacramento raw water intakes. The City of West Sacramento has expressed concern about these pesticides and also about agriculture drainage as being potentially contaminating of surface water which is used by the water district customers. It does not address all of the precautions that they are using to protect the public or if their water treatment plant can remove the myriad of pesticides, herbicides, industrial, and other toxic chemicals.

The City of West Sacramento receives it water from one of the most polluted sources in the State of California. The staggering number of positive readings for agriculture herbicides, pesticides, industrial waste products, uranium, PCBs, etc., is beyond comprehension. No water treatment plant can address the synergistic impacts of combinations of these chemicals nor hope to remove all of them from your drinking water sources.
In addition, the water is used for irrigating backyard gardens, agriculture food crops, lawns, public lands, landscape watering, etc. Millions of gallons are used on soils and could contaminate local wells and other water sources in the area. Some wells draw water straight from river and they are not tested for these chemicals as they are private, single use wells.

Various types of contaminants may or may not be totally removed from water in the treatment process. The City of West Sacramento does not specify how these contaminants are collected or where these contaminants are disposed of after being removed during the treatment process. Where does the contaminated water go along with the toxic particulates and sludge after removal?

There are many questions and few answers for the public. We have graphed many of the water test results obtained from the California State Department of Health, Drinking Water Division, from the City of West Sacramento and other water districts in California, to make it easier to understand the number of contaminants and scope of these test findings. (The policy of most water districts has been to average their test findings over a one year period and then to report those results approximately one year later when no steps can be taken to protect the public.)

• This means that unusual spiking of drinking water tests over state and federal standards are not reported in real time to the public and they may not be removed by the treatment process.

• Since the water tests are not completed instantaneously, due to the type of testing protocols, the time it takes to complete the tests, and the time it takes to evaluate the hundreds of tests, the water may be in your tap before spikes above state and federal standards are detected.

• It should also be noted that the City of West Sacramento does not specify what they would do with contaminated water after intake if it is found to be contaminated, above state and federal standards, and their treatment process cannot remove the contaminants.

• Does the City of West Sacramento have a way to release contaminated water so that it does not go directly to the consumer and is their system adequate to redirect this water to a site that can isolate this contaminated water so that it does not contaminate any other drinking water sources or soils? [7] [8]

• There are synergistic combinations of the individual water contaminants found by the City of West Sacramento. How many tests are conducted on these contaminant combinations to determine if they can be removed by the water treatment plant?

• Does the City of West Sacramento treatment plant have the ability to remove arsenic from drinking water?

• Private water filters may not always be safe or remove some toxic chemicals. [3]

• Bottled water may not be as thoroughly tested as water from your local water district and it may not be as safe. There are many questions being raised at this time about bottled water safety.

There are many issues to be addressed at this time and immediate public hearings should be conducted on the many contaminants found in City of West Sacramento water supplies. These contaminants are from a variety of sources, industrial plants, agriculture, uranium mining, and may also include airborne sources – see the California Air Resources Board reports. [6] [8]

The protection of our drinking water supplies and the health of the public are issues of great concern to everyone and it is time to take additional action to protect the public. These issues affect every citizen of the United States. This City of West Sacramento water issues are just one example of the hundreds of water districts or other water supplies which may have problems. We all need to be vigilant about the source of our water supplies and the treatment, or lack of treatment, to remove toxics from our water. We also need to look at the source of these contaminants and begin to clean up contaminants at the source.

U.S. citizens have the right to know what is in their water supplies. The EPA requires drinking water testing for a wide variety of toxic chemicals in drinking water and these test results are required by law to be made public. (Do not accept summaries of water test data when requesting such data – actual water test results are available to the public upon request in every state.) We each have a responsibility to check with our water supplies or have our wells tested to be sure that we are not being exposed to toxic chemicals to protect our health and the health of our families. Your state or water provider must comply with EPA laws and release the results of all drinking water tests upon request…it is the law.

The study says "traces" of the toxin were found in "BPA-free" bottles while internal correspondence between a department official and the lead scientist went further, characterizing the amounts in two brands as "high readings."

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (CN) - Proctor & Gamble's and Omnipure's "activated carbon" filters release arsenic into water and the companies are not warning consumer of it, the Center for Environmental Health claims in Marin County Court – California.

"Arsenic is present in the activated carbon used in the filers and replacement filers of defendants' drinking water filtration systems," the complaint states. "People who use the products, including children, consume water from the products after arsenic has leached from the products into the water."

The Center claims Omnipure and Proctor & Gamble violate California's Proposition 65 by failing to warn consumers about the risks of cancer and birth defects from the arsenic. It demands fines of $2,500 per day for every Proposition 65 violation, and an injunction. It is represented by Eric Somers with the Lexington Law Group of San Francisco.

5- The review demonstrated unusual spiking patterns, across California, for some toxic drinking water contaminants that that raise concerns about air borne and other pollution sources. This review raises serious questions about why the public has not been informed of these unusual spiking patterns by the California State Department of Health. This list includes, but is not limited to, the following contaminants:

Aluminum, Barium, Iron, Manganese, Magnesium, Sodium, Boron, Arsenic, Strontium, Uranium, Strontium-90, Antimony, Beryllium, Bromine, Cadmium, Calcium, Copper, Lead, Nickel, Silver, Thallium, Titanium, Vanadium, Zinc, Sulfide, Sulfate.

The California Air Resources Board tested for most of these airborne contaminants between 1989 and 2002, and found significant increases or spiking in these many of these pollutants.

Perchlorate, Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6), Phosphorus, Lithium, Rubidium, Silicon, Silica, Tin, Tritium, Tungsten, and Yttrium are not currently being tested for in California Drinking Water Supplies and should be added to the list of chemicals tested by the State of California due to health effects associated with exposure. Many of these same contaminants are showing up in California State Air Resources air testing results throughout many parts of California. Neonicotinoids (insecticides), should also be added to the list of water contaminants as they may be responsible for Honey Bee and other pollinator declines. (Note that carbon black and silver iodide should be also added to this list.)

JUST GIVE US THE FACTS

We find ourselves in the middle of crisis-driven facts and fiction. It is no longer the bare facts reported down the middle of the line by the media…it is now news opinions. Walter Cronkite was labeled “the most trusted man in America” because he brought us, for the most part, unvarnished news reporting. And he trusted us to make our own decisions.

Now every event that is deemed “important” by the media is dissected, fought over, delivered with opinions from every side, even though there no “side” to take. The President gives a speech and no sooner has he completed his speech than the media varnishes what he said in great detail, telling us what we should think and what he really meant. And so it is with each significant or insignificant event…we, the people are not trusted to be given “just the facts” and allowed to make our own judgments. The media thinks we must be driven by the opinions of the media about what it really all means. Politicians work along the same lines with events and opinions. If you lie enough people believe it to be true especially when embellished with confusion.

If the media thinks you are cute, like ex-Governor Palin, she is resurrected with each media cycle which uses her statements and cuteness to sell advertising. If she was not cute, older, had lines in her face, squat, and didn’t wink at men, you would not see her at all in the media cycles. If the media thinks you are not electable or doesn’t like your views they use any method to delete you from the news…if they like you…every cycle, every picture on the media-news shows has a picture of you in the promos or on screen even when others are talking.

Today “Shock & Awe” is being practiced against all ocean life. Now a story that needs to be told on every major media news program is being ignored. The United States Navy has started live-fire and sonar warfare practice in the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico with more 5-year warfare programs waiting in the wings to be used on land areas and in the oceans surrounding the United States. These programs will decimate more than 11.7 million marine mammals over five years, according to U.S. Congressman Henry Waxman, and disrupt marine habitats, pollute our air and water with toxic chemicals, and blast our oceans and sea life into oblivion. It is “shock and awe” all over again except “the enemy” is our oceans and its inhabitants…our fish and our fishing industry…our ocean tourism industry…our air and water quality…human health is not even considered…as we are considered “expendable”.

KTVU Channel 2, Oakland/San Francisco, John Fowler, had the courage to cover this story. No other major television stations, large newspapers, or large radio stations will cover this story. It is not a cute story that will sell advertising or raise ratings. It means blowing the whistle on a current warfare testing expansion that will make everyone uncomfortable...war on ourselves. The new motto of the media is to ignore stories that they don’t want to tell even though they know the telling could save our oceans and millions of marine mammals from disaster.

With the exception of the NRDC taking action against the Navy, few environmental groups are making any effort to let the public know what is happening, preferring instead to send out cute animal pictures to raise money for their corporate coffers. The new motto of most environmental groups is to ignore sticky, uncomfortable subjects, even when an environmental disaster is eminent. Money has overridden ethics for many of these groups. Another environmental group motto, which has been around for years: “We only take on causes we can win”…thus ensuring that money is raised, without generating too much controversy, for their corporate headquarters.

A wonderful teacher and a good friend wrote “Choices” in 2008, which we, the people, all need to make in the face of media and political fear mongering, opinion driven media, and a lack of reporting important news most of the time. I am sharing this with you because I believe that we, the people, can be trusted to make our own decisions and take a higher path. No one says it better.

CHOICES

Words are written, words are spoken, yet truth is laced half way, loose ends, which eventually force us to stumble and fall. Explanations handed out like warm taffy, a quick, gooey fix, a pacifier to keep us quiet for the moment. A sweet, empty treat, but without nourishment of truth, we will no doubt grow weak, unhealthy and controlled.

We are living in a world which we have created, which has ventured so far away from nature, I am afraid we can no longer turn back, find our way home, for all the poisonous bread crumbs we have scattered along our misguided way, have been consumed by the innocent creatures we have forced into extinction. The path is left empty, barren and contaminated. Lost our way, burned our bridges.

We praise yet fool ourselves into believing we are the most intelligent, most beautiful, most divine creatures upon this sick planet, all the while drifting so extremely far off our natural course. We have fouled and poisoned the very Mother that has given us birth, whom has asked nothing of us but to take care of Her, nurture Her and protect Her other natural children. She asks only for Her health and we deny Her plea.

Yet, we, Her children, with all our wisdom and technology mustered in the last 100 years, have harmed, have injured, have pushed our Mother Earth to the very brink of death. We have chosen our own vanity over stewardship. Our own selfish material desires over common, natural sense. Our own grotesque death by poisoning over a simpler life, filled with natural beauty and purity. Our Mother Earth has always offered us this avenue of health and clean environment, yet we have strayed so far, far away, we may never again be able to partake in Her offer.

Pesticide. Herbicide. Fungicide. Insecticide. Homicide. Genocide. Suicide. Which side are you on?

We find more artificial pleasure in the printed green of the dollar than we find from the pure green of a healthy forest glade. We seek a false joy from tiny electronic screens which pull us inward and isolate us. We are told we must own and possess these new inventions and that they will bring us happiness, until they breakdown or are stolen, then we rage against the manufacturer or seek revenge on the thief.

Why is it that we do not possess the same emotions when our fresh, clean air is stolen from our lungs and our waters become rivers of poison? Why is it that we do not possess these same emotions when our forests die before our stinging eyes or bees no longer pollinate our crops and disappear, to never return to their hives? Why do we not raise our voices in unison about these thefts from our natural world of life?

The joy of communications between human beings slips further away, denied within the confines of small, electronic gadgets. Our bodies and minds thirst for the exhilaration of our senses, to rejoice in a simple stroll along an ocean beach, breathe in deeply the fresh salt sea air, feel the cool sands caress our toes and be consumed by the powerful song of sea waves which engulfs our hearts and souls, far removed from the noise of ring tones and scattered, artificial songs, their isolation and separation from natural harmony quite apparent.

We have poisoned our Mother’s lungs, and in doing so, have poisoned our lungs and our children’s lungs. The very chemicals of our genius have become our doom. We must stop in our tracks and use our ingenuity to create a new path. The bread crumbs are gone. We can no longer turn back and hope to rebuild poisoned bridges which have rotted away from our ignorance and arrogance. But we can also not run forward in blind, reckless desire and greed for self-gratification.

We must ALL STOP! Put down the I-Pod, the Blackberry, the Cell phone. Turn off the computer, the TV, the SUV. We must stop and reflect - all of us; take time to truly reflect on what is important, set our priorities. Every adult must escape the ego and bring compassion and true care within their hearts for the children and the elderly, for they are the ones who need our help and strength. We do have a choice. We have always had a choice, and that choice has been the one pure truth of our intelligence and how we choose to use it.

We must make a conscious choice to stop the activities which poison us, and our only home, The Earth. Plain and complex, not simple. And sometimes painful, but the pain which rises from our current path will be much more severe and eternal. Every adult must educate themselves and with that education, enlighten and energize and guide our children. The information is available, you just have to investigate and research. Read, learn, open your mind and find the truth about the chemicals that rule and control our lives. Find out who the corporations are that produce these poisons and demand their production be stopped immediately. Help find natural solutions. Eat, grow and promote organic foods and drinks. Advocate for solar, wind and hydro power. The technology has been present since the 1980’s for ALL of us to drive electric vehicles. Ask WHY we are not allowed that technology. Rise up and demand an end to fossil fuel addiction and the affordable creation of pollution free vehicles.

Demand that your domestic water supplies be tested for a variety of chemicals and heavy metals and demand the true data from those tests. Demand that our air quality be improved, that chemicals and poisons in the air be eliminated and the health of our world’s lungs, the Trees, our Forests, become a top priority.

Advocate for your human and environmental rights. Advocate for the Earth’s rights and advocate for the rights of all living beings on the planet to live and exist in a pure, safe and poison-free atmosphere.

We do have a choice. We have an obligation to the children we bring into this sick and unhealthy world to clean up our decades long mess. To stop the madness of self-destruction and begin the long, tough and painful journey forward. Education, clarity, truth and community, locally, nationally and globally. Our governments will not do it for us. Our multi-national corporations will not do it for us. The CEO’s of oil companies, pharmaceutical and chemical companies, and GMO companies will not assist us.

Without us, without our buying power and our weaknesses, these control corporations do not exist. We, The People, create the governments of the world, create the existence of chemical and pharmaceutical mega-giants. And We The People can and must rise up and demand that these companies either help us clean up our environment and restore the health to the planet or they must not be supported. Any corporate or government officials who do not work with us to restore and renew this planet must be boycotted and asked to leave office. This is beyond argument or discussion or negotiations.

Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, genocide, suicide, homicide. The words ring of horrid truths of evil which penetrate our societies. We must bring a halt to the sicknesses which grip our beings and control our lives and the lives of the innocent, silent beings, whose only joy is to BE.

We do not have 10, 15 or 20 years. We must make a conscious choice and act. We must open our eyes and minds and look up to the sky and not bury our heads in the poisonous sands. We have now experienced two weeks of intense smoke from fires burning in our sick and dying forests. Our air quality has been drastically reduced to a sickening brown haze, filled with chemicals and particulates. We must now recognize that we can never allow this to become “the norm”.

We must not accept the poisons which we are told will help us, assist us in agriculture and health. We must return to nature, for in natural things we find all the answers we require. Artificial and synthetic remedies can only harm our environment, our bodies, our children’s bodies and the health of all ecosystems. Nature supplies us with the remedies, the medicines, and our health; spiritually, physically and emotionally. All we need to do is educate ourselves and act.

If we sit back and wait, for government or corporate assistance, we shall Never get better; Never return to natural health. It is our choice indeed. Live healthy, upon a healthy Earth or die poisoned from the chemicals which corporations profess will assist us.

 If you wanted to destroy the infrastructure that holds our constitutional republic in place, how would you go about that? As with a controlled demolition you would need to dislodge the foundation from the bedrock where it is anchored and weaken the framework that holds the structure together. In practice, you would demolish the laws that support the legal and financial structure. Our constitutional republic would then collapse into its own footprint, meeting no resistance.

Billionaire George Soros claimed the world financial system has disintegrated, adding that there is yet no prospect of a near-term resolution to the crisis. [1] If this were true, it would be a blessing. It is more likely a pretext for consolidating world financial control through an illegitimate global oligarchy that supersedes national sovereignty. Media propagandists are spinning the “new” idea of one world currency issued by a global monetary authority. Herding the fearful into a blind alley with soothing promises of international cooperation, the same criminals who engineered global financial destruction are promoting the International Monetary Fund as the savior of choice to issue one world currency. The IMF’s synthetic currency, Special Drawing Rights (SDR), is determined by the fluctuating value of fiat currencies generated by four privately owned central banks. SDR are fabricated debt owed to a private banking cartel.

Would a universal token of debt, fabricated by the same private banking cartel that engineered our staggering debt, be a remedy for national insolvency? Would global indebtedness to this cartel restore the productive economy? Whose social priorities would be financed by a global banking oligarchy? Would this oligarchy continue the practice of withholding credit from cities and states, farmers, small businesses, homeowners and entrepreneurs while fabricating credit for weapons, war, gambling and fraud? Would consolidating a global debt monopoly counteract or amplify the risk of global systemic collapse? Transnational institutions that infect every aspect of the global financial system have just demonstrated the dangers of being too interconnected to quarantine and too well-connected to prosecute.

Why would a sovereign people who are fully capable of issuing their own money and credit surrender that authority to a supranational oligarchy that issues fiat debt? Abolishing national currencies essentially dissolves national sovereignty.

While media ventriloquists would have us believe rampant and random greed provoked a spontaneous “global financial crisis,” the historical record indicates deliberate and carefully planned destruction of national sovereignty, worldwide. The plans for consolidating private control of global wealth have been in motion for over a century, accelerating exponentially with the frenzy of neoliberal deregulation that enabled financial fraud to metastasize globally. Carroll Quigley, a Georgetown University historian and Bill Clinton’s mentor, was privy to documents and meetings held by the international powers of financial capitalism. He was not speculating on their motives but rather reporting as a trusted insider, an eyewitness who described their intent:

Following World War I . . .”the powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world’s central banks, which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank, in the hands of men like Montagu Norman of the Bank of England, Benjamin Strong of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Charles Rist of the Bank of France, and Hjalmar Schacht of the Reichsbank, sought to dominate its government by its ability to control treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence co-operative politicians by subsequent rewards in the business world.” --Carroll Quigley, 1966 [2]

Founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Trilateral Commission’s stated goal is to foster a “New International Economic Order” that would supplant the historical economic order. Paul Volcker -- past Federal Reserve chairman, Rockefeller trust fund administrator and chairman of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board -- is the North American chairman. Speaking to that group in 1991 David Rockefeller stated:

“We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries.” --David Rockefeller, 1991 [3]

A plan for the world that “marches” humanity towards a world government could only have been developed in the shadows, although constitutional scholars would hardly share Rockefeller’s gratitude to the Washington Post, New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications for half a century of media complicity with treason. A “supranational sovereignty” of self-appointed feudal lords violates the right of sovereign nations to auto determination, the right of nation states to protect their financial sovereignty from “world bankers” and the right of sovereign individuals to form governments that derive their powers from the consent of the governed. In this royal cabal’s worldview, these rights do not exist. The earth is for selfish plundering and human beings are merely expendable serfs to be exploited. National currencies, government regulations, international law, civil liberties, environmental and worker protections are seen as obstacles to self-gratification that must be demolished. Their vision of utopia is a global dictatorship of world bankers and self-appointed elites.

Delusional as such subversive ambitions may sound, the World Trade Organization has already usurped illegitimate authority to supersede the regulations of sovereign nations, overriding international human rights law and the rights of regional governments to protect their populations. The North American Union, masterminded by Richard Gardner, promoted by Robert Pastor and engineered by this cabal will dissolve the borders between the US, Canada and Mexico and superimpose a legislative body that supersedes the authority of Congress with a continental NAFTA parliament of free trade pirates, unrestrained by regulations that protect the public and the earth. [4] It should come as no surprise that media directors complicit with treason have failed to alert the public to this covert destruction of national sovereignty.

The Bank for International Settlements is consolidating world financial control by herding nation states into five Regional Currency Areas that will ultimately be merged into one. [5] The European Union, with a supranational parliament and constitution that were forced on European citizens despite their veto, overrides the sovereignty of individual European nation states.

Fred Bergsten, a US Treasury official and founding member of the Trilateral Commission and subversive Peterson Institute, accurately conveyed the ramifications of abandoning national currencies:

“The adoption of a common currency is by far the boldest chapter of European integration. Money traditionally has been an integral element of national sovereignty . . . and the decision by Germany and France to give up their mark and franc . . . represents the most dramatic voluntary surrender of sovereignty in recorded history. The European Central Bank that will manage the euro is a truly supranational institution.” --C. Fred Bergsten, 1999 [6]

Bergsten rightly acknowledges that, “money is an integral element of national sovereignty.” Therefore, the private ownership of one global currency strips all countries of their national sovereignty in one broad stroke and what better way to shorten the process than to engineer the ‘disintegration of the world financial system,’ with a global derivatives Ponzi scheme.

Bergsten’s euphoria over European loss of national sovereignty is an expression of victory, the triumph of subversion. European nation states did not voluntarily surrender their national sovereignty. They were forced to surrender, just as Americans are being stripped of their national sovereignty, piece by piece.

In 1974, international banker, Trilateralist and CFR member, Richard N. Gardner outlined a comprehensive strategy for the new world order in an influential article in Foreign Affairs, entitled “The Hard Road to World Order.” He stated:

“In short, the ‘house of world order’ would have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great confusion, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.” [7]

Gardner’s strategy for demolishing national sovereignty lays out a sweeping program for successfully setting up world government: strengthening the International Monetary Fund with leverage to wreck the economies of entire countries, as it did to Argentina in 2001; rewriting the ground rules for international trade through GATT (forerunner of the WTO), that “will subject countries to an unprecedented degree of international surveillance over, up to now, sacrosanct ‘domestic’ policies;” creating transnational trade regimes as pretexts for world control, such as the EU, NAFTA and a Free Trade Area of the Americas that would create a massive outflux of jobs and factories from the US and lead, over time, to a complete subordination of American government to a continental corporate authority; giving the United Nations ultimate jurisdiction over the oceans, atmosphere, electromagnetic spectrum, and outer space; disarming all nations to such an extent that, eventually, “no state would have the military power to challenge the progressively strengthened UN Peace Force” -- under whose authority the first Gulf War, and its 12-year aftermath of bombing raids and crippling sanctions, was carried out. From Somalia to the Balkans to Sierra Leone to Afghanistan, United Nations “peacekeepers” have become nearly ubiquitous enforcers of world order out of the barrel of a gun.

Steve Bonta’s analysis of Gardner’s strategy concludes:

“If the insiders could have accomplished overtly and instantly what they are now piecing together through stealth and patient gradualism, they surely would have done so. They’ve had to proceed slowly and cautiously on their ‘Hard Road to World Order,’ and their slowness and caution shows that they fear awakening the American people if they try to do too much too fast.” [8]

Evidently, the “old-fashioned frontal assault” became more desirable than “an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece.” The explosion that dislodged the US Constitution from its bedrock was delivered with a Shock and Awe attack on Americans on September 11, 2001. The plan for totalitarian world order that was not “subject to the bright lights of publicity for forty years,” was rapidly completed in the aftermath of 9/11 when the constitutional relationship between US citizens and their government was radically altered, without their consent.

The legal framework protecting citizens from government abuse was detonated, piece by piece, in a demolition wave that collapsed the US constitutional infrastructure: Office of Legal Counsel justifications for kidnapping, torture, unlawful detention, military tribunals and secret prisons, overturning habeas corpus; militarizing domestic control in violation of Posse Comitatus; White House assumption of dictatorial powers with executive orders and presidential signing statements; Patriot Act destruction of civil liberties; domestic surveillance and personal data mining; control of media and journalism; Internet censorship; nationwide detention camps; unconstitutional pretexts for declaring martial law; domestic mercenary hit squads and intelligence gathering outsourced to private “security” companies; union-busting, ICE raids and deportation executed by the Homeland Security Gestapo.

The demolition wave that took down the global financial system and crashed the US economy was ignited with well placed financial explosives by top officials within the Federal Reserve, Treasury, White House, Congress and key financial institutions. Laws were dismantled and financial derivatives were deregulated to clear a path for the subprime demolition wave. On September 11, 2001, an estimated $240 billion dollars was covertly added to the M2/M3 money supply with the ‘settlement’ of off-balance sheet, illegal bonds created in 1991 by George H.W. Bush and Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan. The banking institutions that funded the subprime operation opened nationwide mortgage retail outlets to bankroll predatory loans that were fanned into speculative equities, hedge funds, and derivative markets -- HSBC, UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston, Triad Guaranty Trust Insurance Corp, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Bank of America, Chase Manhattan, Carlyle Group and Goldman Sachs. [9]

In the four months after 9/11, the total money supply increased by $650 billion, the single greatest burst of monetary increase in modern times. After pumping $3 trillion in excess liquidity into the economy, a 32 percent expansion of the money supply since 1994, the financial managers of this operation created comparable monetary ‘demand’ for this capital with Ten-Year Treasury Notes in a highly coordinated strategy to channel this excess liquidity into the high risk subprime market. A broad array of tactics was used to dismantle financial regulations and block actions that would have prevented systemic collapse, including a White House lawsuit to prevent state regulators from enforcing their predatory lending laws. [10]

Prior to 9/11, the individuals and institutions that collapsed the Soviet economy and robbed the treasury were under investigation by multiple federal agencies for evidence of financial fraud -- potentially related to 280,000 metric tons of stolen gold. These investigations were permanently aborted by the complete destruction of all case evidence -- stored in the 9/11 targets: World Trade Centers 1 and 2 were pulverized within 10 seconds each; WTC 7 was collapsed within 7 seconds; WTC 6 housing $240 billion in illegal bond certificates was exploded and the Office of Naval Intelligence at the Pentagon was demolished -- thereby destroying all evidence against the same individuals who subsequently funded and executed the controlled demolition of the United States. [11]

These are the architects of “regime change” -- the psychopathic assertion that criminals are free to overthrow governments, murder civilians and steal the assets of sovereign nations -- “because we can,” as Richard Cheney declared. In a sovereign nation governed by the rule of law, these subversives would have good reason to fear prosecution for treason and war crimes. Hence, the demolition of the US Constitution and re-engineering of law to provide themselves with immunity and crush political dissent.

Ethical minds do not conceive covert schemes to “march” humanity toward world dictatorship, nor plot the destruction of national sovereignty to rule the world. Human beings with a functioning conscience do not orchestrate mass murder, stage terrorist attacks, bankrupt economies and overthrow governments. These crimes against humanity are manifestations of criminal insanity. Delusions of grandeur, subversion, compulsive lying, larceny, kidnapping, torture and genocide indicate clinical symptoms of psychopathy and severe antisocial character disorders. [12]

The greatest danger of any centrally controlled system is the ease with which it can be hijacked by tyrants. That alone, is good reason to decentralize the global financial system, diversify national currencies and establish public control of money and credit within every nation state. International commitment to strengthening constitutional protection of civil liberties in every country must begin with repealing totalitarian “anti-terrorism” laws and dismantling the architecture of illegitimate “supranational sovereignty.”

Barack Obama is committing the same mistakes made by policymakers during the Great Depression, according to a new study endorsed by Nobel laureate James Buchanan

His policies even have the potential to consign the US to a similar fate as Argentina, which suffered a painful and humiliating slide from first to Third World status last century, the paper says.

There are "troubling similarities" between the US President's actions since taking office and those which in the 1930s sent the US and much of the world spiralling into the worst economic collapse in recorded history, says the new pamphlet, published by the Institute of Economic Affairs.

In particular, the authors, economists Charles Rowley of George Mason University and Nathanael Smith of the Locke Institute, claim that the White House's plans to pour hundreds of billions of dollars of cash into the economy will undermine it in the long run. They say that by employing deficit spending and increased state intervention President Obama will ultimately hamper the long-term growth potential of the US economy and may risk delaying full economic recovery by several years.

The study represents a challenge to the widely held view that Keynesian fiscal policies helped the US recover from the Depression which started in the early 1930s. The authors say: "[Franklin D Roosevelt's] interventionist policies and draconian tax increases delayed full economic recovery by several years by exacerbating a climate of pessimistic expectations that drove down private capital formation and household consumption to unprecedented lows."

Although the authors support the Federal Reserve's moves to slash interest rates to just above zero and embark on quantitative easing, pumping cash directly into the system, they warn that greater intervention could set the US back further. Rowley says: "It is also not impossible that the US will experience the kind of economic collapse from first to Third World status experienced by Argentina under the national-socialist governance of Juan Peron."

The paper, which recommends that the US return to a more laissez-faire economic system rather than intervening further in activity, has been endorsed by Nobel laureate James Buchanan, who said: "We have learned some things from comparable experiences of the 1930s' Great Depression, perhaps enough to reduce the severity of the current contraction. But we have made no progress toward putting limits on political leaders, who act out their natural proclivities without any basic understanding of what makes capitalism work."

Nudging toward Bethlehem: Organ donation without consent

I've written before about attempts by institutions to change cultural norms by creating default options which "nudge" the masses in the direction desired by the elites. I called it "horribly insidious: a subtle extension of the nanny state where numerous decisions are pre-made and pre-packaged for us, and the exact opposite of what it once meant to be an American: independent-minded and self-determining."

This proposal concerning our organs, made by Obama's "regulation czar" in his 2008 book, is an outrage, amounting to organ donation without consent:

“The major obstacle to increasing [organ] donations is the need to get the consent of surviving family members,” said Sunstein and Thaler.

“We think that it's time for institutions, including government, to become much more user-friendly by enlisting the science of choice to make life easier for people and by gently nudging them in directions that will make their lives better,” they wrote.

“…The human brain is amazing, but it evolved for specific purposes, such as avoiding predators and finding food,” said Thaler and Sunstein. “Those purposes do not include choosing good credit card plans, reducing harmful pollution, avoiding fatty foods, and planning for a decade or so from now. Fortunately, a few nudges can help a lot. …”

Very progressive I'm sure. But what gives one entity -- especially the government -- the right to nudge an individual, through default options built into regulations and laws, toward a particular course of action? Who are they to make a judgment on our credit cards, our snacks, or our kidneys? The whole "nudge" concept presupposes that one group knows what's best for the rest of us. It's elitist to the core.

'We need to take more newborn babies into care at birth'

More new-born children need to be taken into care to stop them being damaged beyond repair by poor parents, the boss of a children's charity said today.

Martin Narey, chief executive of Barnardo's, called for less focus on 'fixing families that can't be fixed' and for social workers to be more pro-active about removing children at risk.

His comments come in the wake of last week's court case involving two young brothers from Doncaster who viciously attacked an 11-year-old boy and his nine-year-old nephew.

The siblings were under the care of social services at the time.

Mr Narey told The Observer: 'We can't keep trying to fix families that are completely broken. It sounds terrible, but I think we try too hard with birth parents.

'I have seen children sent back to homes that I certainly wouldn't have sent them back to. I have been extremely surprised at decisions taken.

'If we really cared about the interests of the child, we would take children away as babies and put them into permanent adoptive families, where we know they will have the best possible outcome.'

The former director general of the Prison Service added: 'If you can take a baby very young and get them quickly into a permanent adoptive home, then we know that is where we have success.

'That's a view that is seen as a heresy among social services, where the thinking is that if someone, a parent, has failed, they deserve another chance. My own view is that we just need to take more children into care if we really want to put the interests of the child first.'

Mr Narey acknowledged his views would be seen as 'illiberal heresy' but argued that if social workers intervened quickly 'we would see far fewer problems'.

Doncaster Council is carrying out a Serious Case Review into the circumstances of the brothers, who lived in Edlington, South Yorkshire.

The brothers will be sentenced in six weeks for the offences they have admitted - attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, inciting sexual acts, and robbery.

Former Conservative Party leader Iain Duncan Smith, who has established the Centre for Social Justice, repeated his calls for early intervention after the case came to light.

The brothers were well known to the authorities before they lured their victims to waste ground with the promise they would show them frogs and toads.

During a two-hour ordeal, the nine-year-old boy and his 11-year-old uncle were hit with bricks and sticks. One had a sink dropped on his head, one a noose put around his neck and the other was burned with cigarettes.

Social services were today accused of handling the two boys too softly despite the fact they had been rampaging around their neighbourhood for three years.

A council insider claims they were taken on days out to the seaside and the zoo and allowed to continue running wild.

'These kids were running wild before social services got involved and nothing changed once they were. They had been given treats and taken on trips to the seaside, all paid for by the taxpayers,' the source told the Sunday Express.

'Nobody at any point tried to rein in their wild behaviour, they just go given rewards. They should not have been allowed out of the house unsupervised.'

The insider added: 'Whatever was meant to be in place as support for these lads simply wasn't there.'

The 'telepathy' chip, turn on the TV using the power of thought

A ‘telepathy’ chip that allows people to control computers, televisions and light switches by the power of thought is being developed by British scientists.

The tiny sensor would sit on the surface of the brain, picking up the electrical activity of nerve cells and passing the signal wirelessly to a receiver on the skull.

The signal would then be used to control a cursor on a computer screen, operate electronic gadgets or steer an electric wheelchair.

The chip is the brainchild of Dr Jon Spratley, 28, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, who developed a prototype during his PhD at Birmingham University.

'We are just trying to help people with severe communication problems or motor neurone disease - like Dr Stephen Hawking or Christopher Reeve,' he said.

'What we have designed would allow them to control a computer with their thoughts. If they imagine their muscles moving, that could flick a light switch for example.

'It's an area that is being heavily researched in America but so far all the tests have involved wired sensors. This prototype uses wireless technology to remove the risk of infection and that's the real drive of our work.

'The eventual aim would be to see these systems fully working so they are available to help patients communicate. That's the future.'

The 1.3mm 'multi-contact brain probe' has yet to be tested on a living person or animal. However, tests on brain slices in a laboratory have been promising.

Earlier this year, Japanese researchers unveiled a wheelchair powered by brainwaves. The user wears a cap fitted with electrodes that monitor brain activity.

Scientists have also developed a robotic arm controlled by thought. In tests, monkeys were able to feed themselves using the mechanical limb.

Dr Spratley's invention is a tiny sensor designed to be injected by needle into the brain. The chip has 50 'contact spikes' that connect to nerve cells in the brain.

As the needle is withdrawn, four coil antennae - each just 1mm across - are unfurled on the surface of the brain. These communicate wirelessly with a 'base station' - a 16mm diameter receiver that is permanently placed in the hole left by the needle.

The device picks up neural signals from the brain's motor cortex and transmits the impulses via the base station to a receiver connected to a computer.

Dr Spratley said just seven unique 'thought commands' are needed to provide mouse-like controls for a computer.

He believes implanting the chips will require minimal invasive surgery - yet could change the life of a quadriplegic or motor neurone disease sufferer.

'It began as an investigation into what signals paralysed people can generate,' he said.

'If they can imagine using a limb, even if they can't move it, you can tap into that signal.

'Then you just have to imagine moving the muscle and the leg will move, the brain will train itself.

'Stephen Hawking could just think about using his muscles to operate his machine, rather than have to move his cheek.

'And yes, it would have worked for Christopher Reeve. Muscle control comes back.

'My work was only ever going to be the tip of the iceberg and I hope eventually it will help people. I am glad they are taking it forward.'

Previous chips have relied on cables and wires to send brain signals from a sensor to a controller outside the body.

Dr Spratley, who now works for Cambridgeshire-based company 42Technology, says the wireless chip is safer.

He is now looking for funding to start human trials.

Looked up at noise coming my way and saw a cargo plane with Stagger-wing attitude. Who was this bozo? Was he drunk? Click on the photos.

The local zoomies are up-in-the-air about something. Maybe it's about flying night owls too low over sleeping suburbs. People are talking about it. Asking questions in two languages. Hard to control information traveling in a bilingual shockwave. Now I see why the Wizard wants the whole world to speak one language. It's easier to monitor communications that way.

News travels fast with cell phones and inter-net. Hence another use of man-made lightning -- wipe out communications. Like the night of the Tate murders. Before going into somebody's house to kill them, you first cut the telephone lines.

 

Aerosol hirelings require bolstering with bigger purses to fly the Wizard's round-the-clock dirty work. I wonder what they had to pay American Airlines to use their trademark logo on the tails of those polymer-spraying floozies.

Whatever happened to moral compass in this once Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? What happened to the difference between right and wrong? Who has smeared a good thing?

I call him the Wizard. His money funds every abomination against what is right and good. He is ageless. Every generation a new version of him is born. He pays assassins, court room liars, falsifiers, puppet-politicians, guns-for-hire, disease cooks, cyanide factories, bomb-builders and war-planners. He rewards human-traffickers, addiction vendors, black-market organ salesmen, traitors, disinformation publishers, Internet manure-spreaders, false-flaggers, crooked cops and pill-pushers. He is cancer to national sovereignty and the cyanosis of liberty. He is a usurer. His shackles and bars imprison the innocent. He buys armies. This "man behind the curtain" seems to have more than a hand on our military. He makes them prance like a trained pony. He is the corruption of governments.

Today they had a monstrous gooney bird come over. What a drone of propellers. The lumbering, unwieldy thing looked like a cargo/troop transport. Our troops, as they are condescendingly called, are after all, so much cargo. In keeping with how they refer to personnel as "human capital" in today's government.

To the Wizard,

"the troops" are expendable bodies in desert camouflage. These sort of planes haul our sons and husbands off to instigated killing fields -- and then fly them back in flag-draped coffins. All-purpose planes. Airborne troop transports for the "quick and the dead."

Something like that flew over our house today. And over South Miami at altitudes that endangered all below. What could be the justification for such a flight? What public statement could they have for Habana Nueva? Whom they deem, as these photographs attest, expendable. Like the fresh meat they recently flew to Afghanistan.

More American hecatombs to Israel. Impetuous brainwashed boys, some of them. Others, hard up to pay the bills in a deliberate depression. Reminds me of that scene in The Deer Hunter. Christopher Walken playing Russian Roulette. That's what they're doing over there. Walking point through booby-trapped Howitzer shells. And the Wizard is watching it all from satellite. Perhaps with delight. Those aren't his sons going up in a pink mist, after all.

There is Cuban Heritage in this town to whom a bloody Marxist take-over is fresh on their minds. That regime was funded by the same Wizard who sends me buzz-jobs of assorted makes and models. There was a fixed-wing surveillance drone that I could have touched from my bedroom window. Noiseless. Maybe a faint whirrrrrrr. That's how close he was. I got a good look at him. Had a Stavatti look about it. Photogenic aircraft for the most part. But this last one was a hoot.

Before their big aviation stand-down two months ago, the Wizard sent helicopters to spot-light my bedroom windows and check the driveway. Why? Ask the Wizard. Maybe he's got something against the AMERICAN FREE PRESS. http://americanfreepress.net/

One of these choppers I caught in the act -- U.S. Coast Guard in blazing danger-orange and white in the middle of the night. 0200 hours sharp. Outside coverage on that one. I could have jumped up and grabbed the sled.

Since 2001 they have had a massive government "re-org." The U.S. Coast Guard is now part of the Christian and Muslim-hunting Department of Homeland Security. See what my husband misses by being in Iraq? Looks like the new war zone might be here. They sure are practicing to make it one above their artificial clouds. Powder Polymer

Funny how the Tanker Team has had this polymer powder since 2001 and didn't use it on Katrina. It was invented in 2000 by Peter Cordani. The patent's main thrust is how to disarm a hurricane.

It works on the same physics that they use in super-thin sanitary napkins or high-absorbancy baby diapers. Turns liquid into gel. Except here they spray it into clouds in powder form. And it absorbs rain many times its own weight. The process cripples wind velocity. Based on this math, Katrina could have been erased from the air.

If they had this stuff as early as 2001, then why did they let Katrina happen? And why did FEMA just sit there and watch? Where was the massive "Preparedness Community" then?

Presently they are using polymer aerosols in Miami to hold back the seasonal monsoon. The back lawn has morphed into broad-leaf weeds that thrive on less rain in areas where the grass has died.

Why are they doing this? There are a few reasons. Tactical cloud-cover is wanted. With a normal monsoon, post-rain evening skies would be left too clear for their nefarious operations. So they manipulate the weather accordingly. They let a few drops fall strategically to make people think it's raining. But it's never the right kind of rain. Or in the right duration. Monsoons don't dump at 9:00pm like their fake rain this summer. They have insulted indigenous intelligence. They underestimate the Cuban mind.

They need a low ceiling and fake clouds to hide the arrival phase of their high-tech war toys. Once they take up their positions in the night sky, their weapon system masquerades as stars. Among these masqueraders appear to be targeting and surveillance systems. High-speed, anti-gravity drones. Tiny scintillators to gauge high energy radiation (electromagnetic waves of "x" and gamma ray, particulate alpha, beta and neutron). What they call ionizing radiation. Electrifying radiation. Inject it into a cloud and super-charge it.

An ion is an electrically-charged atom. In a gas, radiation can make it electric. You can make lightning like that in an artificial cloud and from what I have seen -- do anything you want with it. Hell of a new war toy. Alexandros! We've come a long way from the sarissa. But the omega is a firm guarantee.

Lately due to unwanted publicty, they have panicked and started spraying mega-loads of cover clouds to act as nocturnal duck-blinds. Tanker jets fly up and down the Biscayne Bay dumping their loads all night. They create large cumulus imposters that drift westward across South Miami into the Everglades.

The other purpose of their cloud chemistry is to conduct an electric charge. They also need an electromagetic matrix for their nuclear devices. And atmospheric pea soup is desired for projecting holographic images of backdrop stars and the moon. Think of it as heavy foundation for make-up. The foundation is the false ceiling. And the make-up are stars and moon.

It seems to me that the local astronomy clubs have been briefed about what to tell quizzical students and enthusiasts. Telescopes are made to penetrate into deep space. These fake low ceilings all summer no doubt have piqued curiosity among star-gazers. Because they also have fake constellations for your telescope that are made of scintillators. How gullibe do they think we are about the night sky? Do they assume everybody in Miami is drunk and high?

Back to Katrina. Peter Cordani's invention laments the destruction of 1992's Andrew and offers a "solution" for future storms. These polymers can be used to arrest a hurricane. Then why didn't they arrest Katrina?

Perhaps they have other uses for this invention. Cordani's patent says that there are several unlisted applications for this cloud powder. He didn't list in his patent how the polymer can likewise be used to create a drought -- and subsequent famine anywhere in the world. Straight Bolt

At 0100 I go to the east telescope for a peek at the "stars" over the Bay. Hoist up the blinds to find a dense cloud sprawling the expanse of my vista. It looks like one of those man-made clouds that comes out of the aerosol ports of the local Boeing "night owl" jet. It boasts lightning, so I settle in for the show.

I deem that the cloud is fabricated and so is the lightning. As I watch the entertaining display, to the left of cloud-center I see a tiny black orifice jut out of the cloud. From this orifice comes a straight bolt of lightning that looks like a barbecue skewer. Like those laser sabers from Star Wars. It struck out for the same amount of time that the other "more natural-looking" bolts of lightning did. But it was perfectly straight. Like a white laser beam.

I think that our military/industrial gang is testing a lesser cousin of the particle beam. And not far from sleeping suburbia. This super-charged cloud hovered motionless in a dead calm slightly south and east of a swath of new houses. ¡Despierta Habana Nueva!

At 0130 the lightning abruptly ceased. Clearly, to me, this was a test of man-made lightning. There was nothing natural about the cloud, the lightning or the way it suddenly stopped. Now I see the efficacy of all those scintillators.

For 60 days that I have observed, this fake lightning has been a nightly affair. Flashes of unnatural-looking light and thunderless lightning. Tonight I saw how the embellishing bolts served as a distraction from the one in question. This big cloud was full of lightning I think because they needed plenty of "normal-looking" lightning to distract possible eyes from the laser-lightning they were testing.

A particle beam is man-made lightning that strikes like a laser with devastating power. In the beam are carried subatomic particles that each act like a separate bullet on impact, displacing their momentum. It can destroy anything with the strike of a lightning bolt. But it has the targeting capability of a laser beam in that it strikes in a straight line. This gadget can be used in our atmosphere and in space. What I saw, however, appeared to be harnessed lightning. Lightning alone does not contain little bullets -- just high voltage. But that's enough to get your attention. And make you do the high-step.

If you thought your government could selectively pick you off with lightning every time you stepped outside, would it make you a more "compliant" citizen?

No wonder the local military bases have been secretive about the strange things in the sky. Those round, wingless drones are likely nuclear and can hover inside clouds. I have seen them flit from cloud to cloud in the day time and hide inside them. Tonight I think it was the same little anti-gravity UAV's (unmanned aerial vehicles)/drones that were inside that cloud making lightning. I have seen them do it before.

Today's aviation is painfully dependent on technology. Imagine flying by compass in a tail-dragger. Disoriented over blue and azure. Remember Flight 19? "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday..." That's what they get for calling those planes Avengers. Vengeance does not belong to man.

Beam-lightning is a vulgar display of voltage. Children should not play with Daddy's guns. In the hands of men with purchased souls, light-trigger nukes, man-made pestilence, laser snipers, NBCRE and now this -- only spells one thing. That history repeats itself.

Daily Tanker Parade

In the thick of rush-hour when most people are fighting traffic or stuck in it, these jokers come sneaking inland from the Bay. They are painted up in bogus logos and colour schemes -- trying to pass for

commerical airliners. But they're not. They are tankers full of aerosols heading into the stratosphere to dump their daily loads. There they fabricate a ceiling to cast a veil between what goes on above and is kept ignorant below.

Their wing tips are often crimped up. Some look like KC-135's. Their fuselages vary in length and circumference. They look like donations from the airlines that were sent back to Boeing for modifications. Along the wings you can see the aerosol ports. Instead of passengers they now haul chemical cocktails that dehydrate and fabricate clouds, spread haze and make metropolitan fog. The possibilities of what else they can "deliver" is extensive.

Fake Firmament

I'm looking out of a west window into a sleeping city. The ghostly tanker jet flies over like a white owl. His wing-span is gargantuan. Engines -- mute. Boeing's latest and greatest. Heading toward the Glades, asending gradually, he slips into a thick blanket of ceiling -- one that is an illusion even through Steiners.

This morning I saw doubtless ocular proof that what I had hypothesized was correct. The frantic 24/7 Boeing tanker missions (chem-trails) are to lay a fake ceiling around the planet. So that at night you think you're looking into a star-studded Nevada sky. But the stars are fake. And so is the sky.

The backdrop to the moon and stars is an aerosol blanket posing as a clear night. I infer that it is a cocktail of particulate nuke-friendly metals. They are good conductors of electricity and radio frequencies. The dense blanket is also an exellent aerosol base onto which one might project holographic images. The moon never looked so good -- until you see the clouds behind it, oops.

During the "star arrival" and "set up" phase, I notice how the whole star-studded blanket moves around in unison. As though somebody is moving the layout with a computer mouse. During this time it appears that the non-holographic drone-stars are linked-up with the software program and locked into their nightly positions. After this, they move across the sky in sync with their backdrop, mimicking noctural progress of celestial bodies from east to west.

What appeared to me as a Nevada sky in the subtropics was an optical illusion. This explains why my telescopes could not penetrate to deep space. The night sky had cartoon opacity about it and the stars were too close to the earth for true focus. A cream soup of "not quite black enough" to be open space. It had the surreal creepiness of van Gogh's "Starry Night."

Globalists Will Not Give Up on Takeover of US Roads

AFP is continually monitoring the proposed North American Union. This not only involves the dynamics surrounding the “border fence” issue; it also involves watching the efforts of “NAFTA Superhighway” profiteers to install small “piecemeal” infrastructure projects, even while opponents throw legislative roadblocks in front of the much larger, more obvious stretches of super-tollways that are part of the proposed international highway scheme that could consolidate the U.S., Mexico and Canada. 

Such a three-part union must have an international mega-tollway network for even more free trade, a common currency and other physical and political tangibles—not just policy papers and books written by people like American University professor Robert Pastor that call for a “North American Community.”

Much of the Trans-Texas Corridor part of the NAFTA Superhighway—whose two main branches are TTC-69 and TTC-35—has been set back by vigilant citizens. They worked overtime in the spring of 2009 shadowing their state legislators and getting them to oppose the TTC plan that could carve up many large Texas ranches held by the same families for generations. But some smaller highway projects that seem to fit into the TTC schematic indeed have taken root.

An especially notable project is the State Highway 130 tollway around Austin, Tex., which is so devoid of motorists at times that a plane landed on it during “peak traffic” and did not have to be rushed out of the way, although transportation crews closed part of the tollway for a time once they reached the scene. The pilot, 24-year-old Lindsey Moreland, told investigators she took off from an airstrip at Austin-Bergstrom Airport and was headed to Georgetown when she had engine trouble. SH 130 was closed while crews moved the single engine Cessna to the shoulder of the southbound lane. At 4:30 p.m. the highway was shut down again so the plane’s owner could take off and fly to Temple.

An Aug. 17 Austin American-Statesman article included the sub-headline “New section will offer less congested route to Houston.” But “less congested” is a major understatement when traffic is sparse enough for a pilot to land there during peak time. Thus, will SH 130 fail like another under-used private Texas toll route (Camino-Columbia) near Laredo that went belly-up? 

Citing the Austin newspaper piece, the San Antonio Toll Party (SATP) activist group, which has helped slow the TTC onslaught over several years, issued a news bulletin that commented: “This article bills this leg of the Trans Texas Corridor/TTC-35 project as a way to avoid congestion to Houston when the original sales pitch for the loop was to relieve traffic on I-35 (which the segment from Georgetown to the airport has not done). However, the first leg of SH 130 . . . is ‘sooo’ empty, that a plane landed on it during peak traffic. It begs the question: if no one can afford [to drive on it], then why build it?”

A major aspect of this development, according to SATP, is that SH 130—though not completely finished but is partly operational—is the first Texas road under foreign control if and when new sections are added. It is slated to remain under that control for the next 50 years. 

A consortium called SH 130 Concession Co., led by private Spanish toll road operator Cintra—partnering with the huge San Antonio-based Zachry Construction Co.—is financing the $1.35 billion project. It will operate the toll road and hopes to profit from it over the next 50 years. 

Noting the NAFTA connection, Wikipedia’s listing for SH 130 describes it as follows: “A tollway from Interstate 35 (I-35) in Georgetown to U.S. 183 and SH 45 at Mustang Ridge. Portions south of Mustang Ridge will soon be under construction. When completed, SH 130 will run in an 89-mile corridor east and south of Austin. It parallels I-35 and is intended to relieve the Interstate’s traffic volume through the Austin-San Antonio corridor by serving as an alternate route. The northern terminus of State Highway 130 is I-35 north of Georgetown. Its eventual southern terminus is Interstate 10 near Seguin. The highway was developed in response to the tremendous surge in truck traffic on the I-35 corridor brought on by the North American Free Trade Agreement during the late 1990s, especially truck traffic originating from Laredo, where the Texas Department of Transportation reported 150 trucks entering the United States every hour.” SH 130 will eventually be six lanes. Ground was first broken for SH 130 on Oct. 3, 2003. 

On June 28, 2006, Cintra-Zachry, the Trans-Texas Corridor developer, reached a $1.3 billion agreement with the state to build segments 5 and 6 from U.S. 183 to I-10 in Seguin.

“In exchange for their investment, Cintra-Zachry will receive the right to collect tolls for 50 years in a revenue sharing agreement with the state. The state will own the road while the developer will be responsible for financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance over the life of the agreement,” Wikipedia also noted, confirming what critics are saying about decades of foreign control.

Taking down a nation: Money, murder and national sovereignty

 If you wanted to destroy the infrastructure that holds our constitutional republic in place, how would you go about that? As with a controlled demolition you would need to dislodge the foundation from the bedrock where it is anchored and weaken the framework that holds the structure together. In practice, you would demolish the laws that support the legal and financial structure. Our constitutional republic would then collapse into its own footprint, meeting no resistance.

Billionaire George Soros claimed the world financial system has disintegrated, adding that there is yet no prospect of a near-term resolution to the crisis. [1] If this were true, it would be a blessing. It is more likely a pretext for consolidating world financial control through an illegitimate global oligarchy that supersedes national sovereignty. Media propagandists are spinning the “new” idea of one world currency issued by a global monetary authority. Herding the fearful into a blind alley with soothing promises of international cooperation, the same criminals who engineered global financial destruction are promoting the International Monetary Fund as the savior of choice to issue one world currency. The IMF’s synthetic currency, Special Drawing Rights (SDR), is determined by the fluctuating value of fiat currencies generated by four privately owned central banks. SDR are fabricated debt owed to a private banking cartel.

Would a universal token of debt, fabricated by the same private banking cartel that engineered our staggering debt, be a remedy for national insolvency? Would global indebtedness to this cartel restore the productive economy? Whose social priorities would be financed by a global banking oligarchy? Would this oligarchy continue the practice of withholding credit from cities and states, farmers, small businesses, homeowners and entrepreneurs while fabricating credit for weapons, war, gambling and fraud? Would consolidating a global debt monopoly counteract or amplify the risk of global systemic collapse? Transnational institutions that infect every aspect of the global financial system have just demonstrated the dangers of being too interconnected to quarantine and too well-connected to prosecute.

Why would a sovereign people who are fully capable of issuing their own money and credit surrender that authority to a supranational oligarchy that issues fiat debt? Abolishing national currencies essentially dissolves national sovereignty.

While media ventriloquists would have us believe rampant and random greed provoked a spontaneous “global financial crisis,” the historical record indicates deliberate and carefully planned destruction of national sovereignty, worldwide. The plans for consolidating private control of global wealth have been in motion for over a century, accelerating exponentially with the frenzy of neoliberal deregulation that enabled financial fraud to metastasize globally. Carroll Quigley, a Georgetown University historian and Bill Clinton’s mentor, was privy to documents and meetings held by the international powers of financial capitalism. He was not speculating on their motives but rather reporting as a trusted insider, an eyewitness who described their intent:

Following World War I . . .”the powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world’s central banks, which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank, in the hands of men like Montagu Norman of the Bank of England, Benjamin Strong of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Charles Rist of the Bank of France, and Hjalmar Schacht of the Reichsbank, sought to dominate its government by its ability to control treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence co-operative politicians by subsequent rewards in the business world.” --Carroll Quigley, 1966 [2]

Founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Trilateral Commission’s stated goal is to foster a “New International Economic Order” that would supplant the historical economic order. Paul Volcker -- past Federal Reserve chairman, Rockefeller trust fund administrator and chairman of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board -- is the North American chairman. Speaking to that group in 1991 David Rockefeller stated:

“We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries.” --David Rockefeller, 1991 [3]

A plan for the world that “marches” humanity towards a world government could only have been developed in the shadows, although constitutional scholars would hardly share Rockefeller’s gratitude to the Washington Post, New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications for half a century of media complicity with treason. A “supranational sovereignty” of self-appointed feudal lords violates the right of sovereign nations to auto determination, the right of nation states to protect their financial sovereignty from “world bankers” and the right of sovereign individuals to form governments that derive their powers from the consent of the governed. In this royal cabal’s worldview, these rights do not exist. The earth is for selfish plundering and human beings are merely expendable serfs to be exploited. National currencies, government regulations, international law, civil liberties, environmental and worker protections are seen as obstacles to self-gratification that must be demolished. Their vision of utopia is a global dictatorship of world bankers and self-appointed elites.

Delusional as such subversive ambitions may sound, the World Trade Organization has already usurped illegitimate authority to supersede the regulations of sovereign nations, overriding international human rights law and the rights of regional governments to protect their populations. The North American Union, masterminded by Richard Gardner, promoted by Robert Pastor and engineered by this cabal will dissolve the borders between the US, Canada and Mexico and superimpose a legislative body that supersedes the authority of Congress with a continental NAFTA parliament of free trade pirates, unrestrained by regulations that protect the public and the earth. [4] It should come as no surprise that media directors complicit with treason have failed to alert the public to this covert destruction of national sovereignty.

The Bank for International Settlements is consolidating world financial control by herding nation states into five Regional Currency Areas that will ultimately be merged into one. [5] The European Union, with a supranational parliament and constitution that were forced on European citizens despite their veto, overrides the sovereignty of individual European nation states.

Fred Bergsten, a US Treasury official and founding member of the Trilateral Commission and subversive Peterson Institute, accurately conveyed the ramifications of abandoning national currencies:

“The adoption of a common currency is by far the boldest chapter of European integration. Money traditionally has been an integral element of national sovereignty . . . and the decision by Germany and France to give up their mark and franc . . . represents the most dramatic voluntary surrender of sovereignty in recorded history. The European Central Bank that will manage the euro is a truly supranational institution.” --C. Fred Bergsten, 1999 [6]

Bergsten rightly acknowledges that, “money is an integral element of national sovereignty.” Therefore, the private ownership of one global currency strips all countries of their national sovereignty in one broad stroke and what better way to shorten the process than to engineer the ‘disintegration of the world financial system,’ with a global derivatives Ponzi scheme.

Bergsten’s euphoria over European loss of national sovereignty is an expression of victory, the triumph of subversion. European nation states did not voluntarily surrender their national sovereignty. They were forced to surrender, just as Americans are being stripped of their national sovereignty, piece by piece.

In 1974, international banker, Trilateralist and CFR member, Richard N. Gardner outlined a comprehensive strategy for the new world order in an influential article in Foreign Affairs, entitled “The Hard Road to World Order.” He stated:

“In short, the ‘house of world order’ would have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great confusion, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.” [7]

Gardner’s strategy for demolishing national sovereignty lays out a sweeping program for successfully setting up world government: strengthening the International Monetary Fund with leverage to wreck the economies of entire countries, as it did to Argentina in 2001; rewriting the ground rules for international trade through GATT (forerunner of the WTO), that “will subject countries to an unprecedented degree of international surveillance over, up to now, sacrosanct ‘domestic’ policies;” creating transnational trade regimes as pretexts for world control, such as the EU, NAFTA and a Free Trade Area of the Americas that would create a massive outflux of jobs and factories from the US and lead, over time, to a complete subordination of American government to a continental corporate authority; giving the United Nations ultimate jurisdiction over the oceans, atmosphere, electromagnetic spectrum, and outer space; disarming all nations to such an extent that, eventually, “no state would have the military power to challenge the progressively strengthened UN Peace Force” -- under whose authority the first Gulf War, and its 12-year aftermath of bombing raids and crippling sanctions, was carried out. From Somalia to the Balkans to Sierra Leone to Afghanistan, United Nations “peacekeepers” have become nearly ubiquitous enforcers of world order out of the barrel of a gun.

Steve Bonta’s analysis of Gardner’s strategy concludes:

“If the insiders could have accomplished overtly and instantly what they are now piecing together through stealth and patient gradualism, they surely would have done so. They’ve had to proceed slowly and cautiously on their ‘Hard Road to World Order,’ and their slowness and caution shows that they fear awakening the American people if they try to do too much too fast.” [8]

Evidently, the “old-fashioned frontal assault” became more desirable than “an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece.” The explosion that dislodged the US Constitution from its bedrock was delivered with a Shock and Awe attack on Americans on September 11, 2001. The plan for totalitarian world order that was not “subject to the bright lights of publicity for forty years,” was rapidly completed in the aftermath of 9/11 when the constitutional relationship between US citizens and their government was radically altered, without their consent.

The legal framework protecting citizens from government abuse was detonated, piece by piece, in a demolition wave that collapsed the US constitutional infrastructure: Office of Legal Counsel justifications for kidnapping, torture, unlawful detention, military tribunals and secret prisons, overturning habeas corpus; militarizing domestic control in violation of Posse Comitatus; White House assumption of dictatorial powers with executive orders and presidential signing statements; Patriot Act destruction of civil liberties; domestic surveillance and personal data mining; control of media and journalism; Internet censorship; nationwide detention camps; unconstitutional pretexts for declaring martial law; domestic mercenary hit squads and intelligence gathering outsourced to private “security” companies; union-busting, ICE raids and deportation executed by the Homeland Security Gestapo.

The demolition wave that took down the global financial system and crashed the US economy was ignited with well placed financial explosives by top officials within the Federal Reserve, Treasury, White House, Congress and key financial institutions. Laws were dismantled and financial derivatives were deregulated to clear a path for the subprime demolition wave. On September 11, 2001, an estimated $240 billion dollars was covertly added to the M2/M3 money supply with the ‘settlement’ of off-balance sheet, illegal bonds created in 1991 by George H.W. Bush and Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan. The banking institutions that funded the subprime operation opened nationwide mortgage retail outlets to bankroll predatory loans that were fanned into speculative equities, hedge funds, and derivative markets -- HSBC, UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston, Triad Guaranty Trust Insurance Corp, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Bank of America, Chase Manhattan, Carlyle Group and Goldman Sachs. [9]

In the four months after 9/11, the total money supply increased by $650 billion, the single greatest burst of monetary increase in modern times. After pumping $3 trillion in excess liquidity into the economy, a 32 percent expansion of the money supply since 1994, the financial managers of this operation created comparable monetary ‘demand’ for this capital with Ten-Year Treasury Notes in a highly coordinated strategy to channel this excess liquidity into the high risk subprime market. A broad array of tactics was used to dismantle financial regulations and block actions that would have prevented systemic collapse, including a White House lawsuit to prevent state regulators from enforcing their predatory lending laws. [10]

Prior to 9/11, the individuals and institutions that collapsed the Soviet economy and robbed the treasury were under investigation by multiple federal agencies for evidence of financial fraud -- potentially related to 280,000 metric tons of stolen gold. These investigations were permanently aborted by the complete destruction of all case evidence -- stored in the 9/11 targets: World Trade Centers 1 and 2 were pulverized within 10 seconds each; WTC 7 was collapsed within 7 seconds; WTC 6 housing $240 billion in illegal bond certificates was exploded and the Office of Naval Intelligence at the Pentagon was demolished -- thereby destroying all evidence against the same individuals who subsequently funded and executed the controlled demolition of the United States. [11]

These are the architects of “regime change” -- the psychopathic assertion that criminals are free to overthrow governments, murder civilians and steal the assets of sovereign nations -- “because we can,” as Richard Cheney declared. In a sovereign nation governed by the rule of law, these subversives would have good reason to fear prosecution for treason and war crimes. Hence, the demolition of the US Constitution and re-engineering of law to provide themselves with immunity and crush political dissent.

Ethical minds do not conceive covert schemes to “march” humanity toward world dictatorship, nor plot the destruction of national sovereignty to rule the world. Human beings with a functioning conscience do not orchestrate mass murder, stage terrorist attacks, bankrupt economies and overthrow governments. These crimes against humanity are manifestations of criminal insanity. Delusions of grandeur, subversion, compulsive lying, larceny, kidnapping, torture and genocide indicate clinical symptoms of psychopathy and severe antisocial character disorders. [12]

The greatest danger of any centrally controlled system is the ease with which it can be hijacked by tyrants. That alone, is good reason to decentralize the global financial system, diversify national currencies and establish public control of money and credit within every nation state. International commitment to strengthening constitutional protection of civil liberties in every country must  begin with repealing totalitarian “anti-terrorism” laws and dismantling the architecture of illegitimate “supranational sovereignty.”

Defense Groups Eye Drones for War and Policing

Baitullah Mehsud was said to have been having a leg massage from his wife when two Hellfire missiles killed the Taleban leader ten days ago.

He had been staying at his father-in-law’s house in the border area of Afghanistan and Pakistan and was on the roof relaxing, unaware that a Predator B drone was silently tracking him.

Once the drone’s electro-optic sensors had identified him, the aircraft launched its missiles.

Such attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are becoming increasingly common in Afghanistan. One report has identified 42 UAV attacks in the past 18 months, in which 360 people have died and the ability of Taleban commanders to operate in the open has been seriously hampered.

UAVs are favoured for such missions because they can stay airborne for long periods — often more than 24 hours at a time — and are much quieter than fighter jets or helicopters. UAVs also have the advantage of removing pilots from danger because the drones are controlled by satellite from bases miles away, even continents away.

The UAVs deployed by British and American forces in Afghanistan are used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (Istar) missions. They vary in size from a handheld remote controlled aircraft used by troops to determine what is behind a hill to the $35 million (£21 million) Global Hawk, built by Northrup Grumman.

Britain uses Hermes 450 drones and also leases Reapers, or Predator Bs, from General Atomics, of the United States. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) will introduce Watchkeeper, which is built by Thales, next year as Britain’s main UAV. Among its tasks, Watchkeeper will be able to spot whether terrain changes from hour to hour, so that troops can be alerted to possible explosive devices hidden at the side of the road.

Although details of UAVs’ capabilities are secret, they are widely understood to carry video and highresolution cameras capable of daytime surveillance ranging up to ten kilometres (six miles). They also have infrared systems for night surveillance and some of the larger models have ground-monitoring radar, which increases their range to about 30 kilometres.

Some of the large UAVs, such as Predator, also carry missiles. This is a rapidly growing area of development, with suppliers building smaller weapons systems capable of launching from unmanned platforms.

The potential for the next generation of UAVs is even greater and British defence companies are developing the technology that will be required. The MoD called together seven such companies two weeks ago to lay out rules and requirements for developing the next generation of UAVs.

BAE Systems, Europe’s largest defence company, is hoping that the future lies in autonomous UAVs, which would follow a set of instructions rather than be controlled by a pilot. This would open many new applications because the aircraft could operate without constant attention. For example, a UAV could patrol a border and alert ground troops or civilian police if people were seen crossing.

BAE is working with some British police forces on how UAVs could aid crime prevention. They may be used at the 2012 Olympic Games to aid crowd control and anti-terrorist surveillance.

The main problem to be solved before UAVs can be deployed outside regions such as Afghanistan is integrating them into busy airspace and teaching them to avoid other aircraft.

Another area of research is the creation of combat UAVs (called UCAVs), which may one day replace fighter pilots. BAE is developing a model for the MoD called Taranis. The advantage of UCAVs is that they can be smaller, stealthier and more manoeuvrable because they do not have to be built around a human being.

BAE is sponsoring research at several British universities to develop advanced technologies that could be used in a future UCAV, including moulding all components into one skin. This would allow the UCAV to do away with flaps and rudders and its movement would be controlled by deforming sections of its skin.

David Kershaw, BAE’s director of strategy for UAVs, said: “The key to the next generation of UAVs and UCAVs will be autonomy, because every time you communicate with it, you alert the enemy to where it is. But autonomy requires a high level of decision-making by the UAV and that is not easy.”

The Campaign to Control World's Population

Leading figures from science and environmentalism have backed a call for population restraint policies to be adopted by every state worldwide as part of the battle against climate change.

The Optimum Population Trust says today (August 17, 2009) that the climate change talks which will culminate at Copenhagen in December must ensure that all countries adopt non-coercive policies to limit and stabilise population growth. Family planning programmes in poorer countries should be treated as “legitimate candidates for climate change funding”. Empowering women to control their own fertility would also have major humanitarian benefits for the poorest women and children in the world.

Successful population policies, which answered the unmet need for family planning, could mean nearly three billion fewer people in 2050, a difference equivalent to 44 per cent of current world population (6.8 billion), OPT says. “All environmental problems, and notably those arising from climate change, would be easier to solve with a smaller future population.”

Figures endorsing the statement include broadcaster and film-maker Sir David Attenborough; Professor Paul Ehrlich, author of the 1960s classic The Population Bomb; Gaia scientist James Lovelock; Jonathon Porritt, chair of the UK Sustainable Development Commission until last month and a former director of Friends of the Earth; and Professor Chris Rapley, formerly head of the British Antarctic Survey.*

Roger Martin, chair of OPT, said: “The fact that such eminent individuals, several of them OPT patrons, have personally endorsed our statement should act as a wake-up call to those involved in the Copenhagen process. At the very least it should spur negotiators to start taking population growth seriously as a major driver of climate change. There’s not much point in labouring mightily to cut our carbon emissions if hard-won improvements are then routinely drowned out by rising numbers of people.”

OPT wants to see the principle of “contraction and convergence” – in which rich and poor countries converge towards a per person emissions target - adopted as the basis for agreement. However, it says carbon allowances must be allocated to states based on their population size at a specific date. “This would encourage the adoption of population restraint policies; whereas allocation on a simple per person criterion would encourage continued population growth, thus continuously reducing every person’s carbon entitlement.”

Mr. Martin pointed to a recent study** by Oregon State University, which claimed that in the US each child adds about 9,441 tonnes of carbon dioxide to the carbon legacy of an average female, equivalent to 5.7 times her lifetime emissions. The study concluded: “A person’s reproductive choices must be considered along with [their] day-to-day activities when assessing [their] ultimate impact on the global environment.”

Recent research by OPT also estimated that each Briton “forgone” – each addition to the population that does not take place – saves 744 tonnes of CO2, equivalent in emissions to 620 return flights from London to New York (1.2 tonnes of CO2 each).***

Mr. Martin added: “Progress on climate change is being seriously hampered by the widespread refusal to acknowledge the link between total greenhouse emissions and the sheer numbers of emitters. It’s time we abandoned this crazy taboo. Population growth is not a ‘given’ to be fatalistically accommodated but a major factor that requires tackling along with all the other factors that have so far monopolised the debate."
