The purpose of the Lakeland Area Ministerial Association shall be to provide a General Organization for the ministers of the churches of the City of Lakeland; Judeo-Christian Fellowship; and to provide a common ground on which these ministers can work together for the common good of the Judeo-Christian community within our city.

LAMA monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the Talbot House in Lakeland. See Calendar for more information.

This Yahoo Group exists for anyone, within the context and discipline of a mutual respect and love for one another, to participate in discussing and reflection on the content of the published essays. Residents of the Lakeland area are particularly welcomed to participate.

The active Membership of the Association shall consist of Judeo-Christian ministers who are serving in an active capacity as pastors, associate pastors and assistant pastors of the churches of Lakeland or its immediate environs.

The Association Membership shall consist of ministers serving in a religious capacity other than the active pastorate, retired Christian ministers, ministers preferring associate status, and recognized leaders of all other religious faiths in the City of Lakeland.

Active or Associate Membership is also predicated upon the payment of the annual dues, as may be determined by the Association and set forth in the By-Laws. Active Membership is also predicated upon a minimum attendance, as established by the Association.
