This list provides a forum for Catholic home educators to share information, resources, and ideas in teaching and learning about history. While this is a Catholic list, it is not limited to Catholics. It is committed to Catholic teaching, however, and any form of dissent from that teaching will not be tolerated.
These are the guidelines to help the list function efficiently, effectively, and charitably:

Most members joined this list to focus on history. Sometimes members have serious and good questions on other subjects, or they'd just like to talk about something else. For that reason, Fridays are designated for OT posts. Unless it's somehow urgent, save your OT questions/comments for Friday, and if your question is specific to you, ask for an off-list response.

Prayer requests are never OT, always welcome, and we'll work hard to help.

Please do not send forwards -- cute stories, warnings or prayer
requests from third parties. Always check Snopes...and it wouldn't hurt to check, "The Onion."

Lastly, be considerate of those on Digest and trim your tails! Cut and paste, quote only that portion of the email you want to address, and don't just hit reply and add your thoughts above the previous posters. It makes it so much easier for those on digest to quickly read posts.
