Description

We are the original Florida Lolits. The Florida LOLITS were actually created on Yahoo Groups on November 4th, 2002.

(LOLITS is an acronym for Little Ole Ladies In Tennis Shoes).

We work together toward a common goal--- prison reform.

GUIDELINES FOR FLORIDA LOLITS

1. Members of the Florida LOLITS consist of conservatives and liberals. With that said, there will be no bashing about either the Republican party or the Democratic party.

2. NO anti-America messages will be tolerated.

3. Be nice, don't flame.

4. Sometimes we may need to agree to disagree. However, if you want to fight --- go somewhere else. We're too busy here to get involved with fighting among members. Fighting or name–calling will NOT be tolerated here.

5. If you are asked to end a particular discussion or to change the course of your conversation, do so immediately.

6. Emails or postings on this list should NOT be sent to other groups OR to any former member OR to ANY individual, unless you are the one who wrote the original message. In other words, you may NOT forward ANY emails that were not written by you.

7. When posting a newspaper article or other article on the web, please make sure you always include the link or URL.

8. Whenever you write any letter or email using the LOLITS' name, prior approval must be given by one of the moderators.

We reserve the right to:

1. Restrict the membership of anyone that abuses guidelines.
2. Refuse or block membership of trouble makers without notice.

"We take on a burden when we put a man behind walls and that burden is to give him a chance to change. If we deny him that, we deny his status as a human being and to deny that is to diminish our own humanity and plant the seeds of future anguish for ourselves."
Chief Justice Warren Burger
U. S. Supreme Court
