Agents/3rd Party Posting: Yes, but cleared thru me & the client MUST accept group related notifications to their personal addy
Time Zones: Posters/Members, don't *sweat* 3-4 hours
Note: If the rules are good enough for members, they're good enough for me (I only advertise here on Fridays). Owners/Mods should follow their own rules. I do clean up old ads though.
Member Settings: Minimum-> Special Notices
Vender Settings: Digest/Individual Messages required w/your primary ID (other ID's you own-> Special Notices)
Group Invitations: Yes
*Public Flogging*: Flaming/slander/defamation of character aren't allowed here. I reserve the right to break out "Da Whippin' Noodle" ~ Don't make me get it out! LOL!
Post Your Own Samples: If you want to, Yes! They'll even be removed if you depart (remind me =0)
Copyright Issues: NO public claims of design piracy! I care (very much in fact) but there are better ways to handle such things
Educate *yourselves* RE~> Piracy: "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is" ~ Verify the source via RELIABLE means (another vendor isn't necessarily *reliable means*).
NO~> Strong-Arming/Black-Balling! I have ZERO tolerance for such. Enforcing law is *for the law*, not groups. Find a better way to make a stand.
I belong to a lot of groups & did before I started my embroidery sites. Avoiding petty behavior seen elsewhere is a choice, so we don't complain about: Repeat questions, recipes, ads, signature lines (unless inappropriate) ETC ~ The delete button's available, use it! Avoid petty complaints (which hit like a bad rash, starting as one tiny red spot & pretty soon every group is all *itchy & scratchy*).
Chill out, relax, embroider!
Want affordable, quality designs w/variety? Solution: Support legitimate independents! They work hard for themselves & you
