Description
The diabetic foot disease is a big health problem. The way it is handled up to know is insufficient. Diabetic foot clinics are too few. Those who exist are probably not using the best tools they should to deliver the best level of care.
This group has a lot of opportunities. It will be a collective reflection, a forum and a lot of other things.
I made the constatation that it exists a lack of exchanges(It is MY opinion) between the members of the "Diabetic Foot Community". Everyone is trying to do his or her best in his center and perhaps somewhere as already found a better solution elsewhere.
Website's like the DFSG's one are static.
The international consensus exists but how can we implement it? Someone would like to begin a study but who will be able to recruit patients with him? Why don't we share our educationnel tools? Idem for iconography. Some practionners would like to see what others make in center in other countries, we can promote exchanges.
An international audit of DF centers could be organised.
