Description

This group is dedicated to the philosophies in The Devil's Apocrypha by John A. De Vito.

Rather than being any sort of denominational group, we are going to try creating something different here. This group is not about any one religion, but about the philosophy underlying religion. No god or gods, no dogma, just the underlying philosophical beliefs that outline a sound life philosophy.

I believe this is what De Vito was trying to create with his book. Before judaism, christianity, and islam, religion and philosphy were seperate things. People did not look to religion for rules on how to live, and they did not look to philosophy for whom they should pray to.

Once religion and philosophy merged, jihad and murder were the result. It is the goal of this group to seperate valid life philosophy from religious belief.

All are welcome to partake in what will surely be a rich discussion.
