The Daily Meditation (TDM) is a Singapore-based service that provides free daily Dharma messages. Since the first day in 1999, Dave types messages pertaining to Buddhism from all its mainstream traditions and sends them to his friends. All messages are from reliable Buddhist sources. Sometimes, there are writings by young Buddhists writers as well. In so doing, Dave hopes to spread the teachings of the Buddha in his own little ways, however insignificant.

The guiding principle of TDM is the cultivation of faith through the development of wisdom, as illustrated in "Faith without wisdom will develop ignorance; wisdom without faith will develop a perverted view. Therefore, the Buddhist faith develops through the cultivation of wisdom." In upholding this principle, TDM aims to clear doubts that people have about Buddhism, and in so doing, enable people to see Buddhism in its true face, and to focus on humanistic Buddhism and that Buddhism is always actively engaged with the society and the world. This highlights the practicality of the Dharma. Occasional issues try to bring out more profound teachings of the Enlightened One and they aim to open the eyes of the subscriber to the breathtaking beauty of the Buddha-Dhamma.

1. Sukandar - This wealth of the moment is hard to come by. When attained, it is capable of bringing immense benefit. If it is not gainfully used now, where will one come by it again?
