Gee, regarding the "woofies" I at least hope
they've been to obedience school...can't have them
piddling and such at inopportune moments....

I
don't buy the Mrs. Cat story at all. Anyone who can put
up with the tough kitty isn't going to have any
trouble with some doggies.....
A chat night to discuss MR sounds good,
Sarah.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights all okay, I mean, after baseball and
hockey, who has a life anyway? Thought the 9 p.m. eastern
time was okay too, but how does that work for people
on the coast? Like the idea of first Fri/Sat/Sun
too.
So the discussion gets going August 5 but do we
want to have an actual chat night to discuss it, and
then post about it later on?

And I was thinking
that if we read a book a month and discuss, say, the
first saturday night of every month, then that takes us
into April 2001, so that way the wait till the next
Elvis won't be quite as long.

Consensus, anyone?
Any preferences on date and time? Then I'll post
about it on the Forum in a day or two.

Sarah
Now we're talking...BEER!

http://www.realbeer.com

No, I don't have a drinking
problem. Wait, isn't that one of the first signs is denial. Yikes!
First of all...no, you aren't the only one who
has time to post before work. And I posted at the
bottom of the Forum as well!
Second, I refrained
from saying anything about the dogs for fear it might
be someone like the Midget thing and that would only
give them something to be mean about.
Third, given
your response Cora-Anne, are YOU the Dogs?
And
finally, I didn't answer Sarah about us trying to be on
top because, well...I'd rather be on bottom!
LOL
Oh, Eddy, looks like I'm #25..something about
landmark numbers??
<And in the weirdest bit of trivia I could
find: seems the group Cream (Eric Clapton for sure,
Jimmy Page I believe) did a commercial for Falstaff
beer!>

I think that Jerry Jeff Walker did one for them
too.
I have to admit, I'm envious of those of you who live close enough to each other
to actually meet on occasion. Some of you should move to Chicago. It's only
fair.
Now you all the members will download and install Yahoo Instant Messenger, you
can tell when someone is online (the smiley face by their name will be awake).
Keep in mind that I don't care much for beer as a
rule. I like Tequiza and tolerate Bud Ice, but that's
about it.

Sample Size: 2 cans in a 45-minute
time period (taken with food)

Flavor: About
average for beer so far as I know.
Aftertaste:
Present.
Buzz Factor: Moderate.
Price: Excellent.
Worth
the Quest?: Hell yes. How else do I get women to pee
in their pants?
Well I suppose if we want to be really *really*
irreverent we can do so here...but personally, I say Forum
first, this place as a backup. I like the chat aspect.
And some of the other stuff is cool, too.

Like
for example, if I ever decide to write a story that,
say, incorporates the whole search for Falstaff beer,
I'd probably do it here.

Also we can be more
off-topic here I think. But no rules, just common
sense.

Sarah
Huh!!! A new place to play ... who's the censor - Sarah? or Yahoo? Just
wondering in case Raul or Shelby get out of line :-)

no webmaster clay
here .....
Just joined, with the aid of the youngest of all the forum members. Thank
you, lady. Looking forward to having another playground. See you all
soon.

R
