Welcome to "The Dad's Group" in Phoenix, AZ! We are transitioning to FaceBook, so if you are on FaceBook, please search "Phoenix Dads Group" and look for the same green logo and join us there. If you are not on FaceBook, please feel free to join via Yahoo and I can send our FB events to your email.

This group is designed for gay dads who are out to their children (or wanting support to come out) and live locally. So whether you are a dad resulting from divorce, surrogacy, adoption, fostering or any other possibility...then welcome.

With that said, our group is pretty open as a resource for guys who wish to join who plan to be a future dad one day. This would be a great way for some of the dads to share their experiences with surrogacy, adoption, fostering, etc....maybe this would make a future dad's life easier than we have had it. Our group also welcomes men who want to meet other men who are family oriented. We are NOT a dating group nor are we a hookup site but if a relationship results from this family environment then that is great too.

Several goals for "The Dad's Group":

1 - A place for our kids to meet/play so our group can provide a sense of kinship for our children so that they feel they are not the only kids with a gay dad(s).

2 - To set a positive precedent for healthy, happy relations for the kids with their gay dad(s).

3 - To provide the dads with a support venue for the many gay, parenting, dating, legal situations that arise in our lives.

4 - TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY OUR LIVES WITH OUR FAMILIES through kid play dates, Dad's Night Out, events and whatever else we decide to create.
