As you well know, the FDA has proposed draconian new rules that would restrict your freedom of access to the dietary supplements of your choice. The head off this misguided effort by the FDA, Congressman Dan Burton, in conjunction with our allies at the National Health Federation, has introduced H.R.3380 – The Dietary Supplement Health Protection Act.

This important legislation would extend the protection afforded by the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) forward from its 1994 enactment date to 2007, allowing thousands of new natural products to be afforded DSHEA protection from the FDA's predatory, pro-pharmaceutical proposed rules.
