Re: More info on Colonel Henry M. Ashby

Dear Mr. Groves:

Henry Marshall Ashby was born in Fauquier County, Virginia. He was a
cousin of Turner Ashby and was a member of the Asby family for whom
Ashby's Gap was named.

I am currently working on an article about Ashby's 2nd Tennessee Cavalry
of which many of my relatives fougght.

Best regards!

Doug Smith
