This group is for Tennessee supporters of retired Army General Wesley Clark who is running for the Democratic nominee in the race for the presidency in 2004. We are seeking volunteers to generate awareness of the candidate throughout the State among voters. General Clark offers a unique view of the current administration's foreign policy and the situation in Iraq. A West Point graduate who was also a Rhodes Scholar, Clark is a combat verteran of the Vietnam War where he led a mechanized infantry company. Clark served as Commander-in-Chief of US Southern Command in 1996-97 and NATO Supreme Allied Commander in 1997-2000 where he led NATO forces in Serbia.Pictured above, Clark at the rally in Knoxville on Sept. 13.
