The prime mission of Teknion is to assist law enforcement in the identification of persons using the Internet for abusing children in any form. This may be sexual or other abuse. We will assist police in the removal of illegal images of children from the Internet. This mission includes, but is not limited to, assisting in the identification of persons taking any part in these illegal activities. Our main aim is to protect the children.

Teknion is a restricted mailing list and pre-approval is required to access the list. If you are a law enforcement professional with an interest in this field, send us an email giving us enough information that we can check on you. A limited number of non law enforcement and non professional persons may be allowed to join as well, after a brief background check. This will be done on a case by case basis.

Please do not apply if there would be a conflict of interest between the work you do and the mission of the Teknion List. An example of this would be if you are a criminal defense attorney, or if you work for one in any manner. Members of the Teknion List can not do both.

Once approved, you will be invited and encouraged to join in on any conversation, or share info with the group. We have an international list of members. News in our field is always welcome.
