Technicolor Dolls Challenge
Welcome to the Fairies and Gnomes Challenge for 2009!
1. All photos are due to me by November 20th, 2009, midnight, no exceptions. Send photos to designdoc@beeline-online.net
2. We must have good clear detailed photos of the front, back, both sides, and close-up of face. Any un-clear fuzzy photos will be disqualified. The judges must be able to see the details of your dolls.
3. The theme is Fairies and Gnomes. You are to make a pair of dolls, two fairies, two gnomes or one of each. Dolls must be all cloth but you can add paperclay over the cloth or paint. No all clay dolls will be accepted.
4. There is no set color palate for this challenge, so it is up to you what colors you want. Use your imagination. Please post links to any inspirational sites you may find.
5. The twist for this challenge is recycle...... you must use at least one recycled item in making your doll. it doesn't matter what it is, just remember the doll itself must be all cloth.
6. Each pair of dolls must be set in a scene of some type, be it woodland or the moon. That is up to you. Stretch your imagination on this one.
7. You will be selecting your own pattern for this challenge and please stick to your own skill level. It can be a magazine patterns, or your favorite designer.
