Description

~ DEDICATED in LOVING MEMORY to
TRICIA VEST ~
She was instrumental in helping carry the burden to adopt two special children ~

The picture to the right shows Orphans still left behind in the system. By now they are well over two years old. Within a year, they will be considered practically 'un-adoptable' ~ See, by age four, Orphans are considered 'older children'. Prospective adopting parents rarely choose a child older than THREE. How sad that these kids will likely grow up in an Orphanage. At age sixteen they are out on the streets to fend for themselves.
It is no wonder so many of them commit suicide, turn to drugs & prostitution. There are thousands upon thousands just like them. Not just in Kazakhstan. Pray for them. Ask God if one of them is yours, entrusted to you by their Heavenly Father. The Word tells us that Pure Religion is to care for Widows and Orphans in their distress. We have adopted two Orphans and had NO money, special skills, or talents. There are lots of people called to this, but most are unwilling to take risks. It is understandable. It is really about trust. God will be faithful if you will take the journey with Him. It takes guts. It is a risk. It is scary, but worth it. Adoption is a priceless experience that will change your life forever. If you would like to see more pictures , click on photos- "Gracie's adoption" & "Orphans".

For those interested in reading our story, just follow along, first numerical email to last, from the southern region of Kazakhstan to the city of Taraz. I have posted details about our trip day by day as they happened. After 18 months of paper chasing, country closings, switching programs, new regulations .. more new regulations, it's been a relief to bring Samuel home for good!
