The premier of Episode 31 of Virginia PBS's series: "Road Trip to History" -
"Battle of Shepherdstown"; will be hosted by the Shepherdstown Men's Club (SMC)
on Wednesday, March 16 at the War Memorial Building (102 East German St.) in
Shepherdstown. The production of this PBS program was funded by American Public
University, Louise and Henry Willard II and the Shepherdstown Battlefield
Preservation Association Inc. (SBPA). Civil War historian and SBPA Board member,
Dr. Thomas Clemens will introduce the program.
The 30 minute program will follow cocktails at 6:30PM and dinner at 7:00PM. The
program will be shown at approximately 8:00PM. For those who wish to attend the

Reservations must be made by 12:00 Noon, Monday, March 14. The dinner for the
evening will be corned beef and cabbage at a cost of $15 per person. You may
view the PBS program, at no cost, by arriving at about 8:00PM. DVDs of the
program will be available for purchase at $15 per copy. Copies are also
