This group is dedicated to Reconstructionist Paganism and scholarly pagans who want to learn and teach. This group is also for the scholarly exploration of magic including the implications and the mechanics. Neo-pagans who are interested in learning about ancient religions and cultures are most welcome.

Magic will be discussed quite often, but this is not a spell-swapping forum. If a spell is mentioned (from whatever religion) I am hoping that it will be examined rigorously. This is where I hope the board will truly shine. Logical discussions on the paranormal happen so rarely.

Among the Recon topics that we will discuss are Asatru (Norse Reconstructionism), Kemeticism (Egyptian Reconstructionism), Aztec Reconstructionism, Sumerian Reconstructionism, and Hellenism (Greek Reconstructionism)

You are allowed to argue on this board within reason. There is no rule that everyone will have to agree with me or any other member of this board. Some degree of arguing makes people look at their own arguments a little better. On the other hand sloppy pseudo science and flaming are not allowed.
