I wasn't wearing jeans....... I do need a new chair though......

It gets really bad sitting back down on the foam pad as the air squeezes
out........

John's special event has been rescheduled due to mechanical problems. For some
reason, the unit has a difficult problem without a good working needle bearing
on the piston.

During testing yesterday, he encountered a motor out and between the motor out
and other technical glitches, he will need to wait until spring or summer.

Anyways, keep your calendars open for an evening XC flight at West Beach on
December 31st. I know Danny Lee and I remember a flight 5 years ago as one of
more memorable flights in our PPG flying experience.

just looked at the forecast. Looks like tomorrow is okay, but with the winds out
of the NNW there is no benefit to ocean sites. Could be a little bumpy in the
middle of the day for new pilots though.

Saturday the winds are supposed to be higher than Friday. Possibly a blowout.
But maybe just marginal, have to wait and see.

Sunday, if the forecast holds, should be a great day at the levee, but dress
warm.

I am clearing out some merchandise, some new, some used.

I have two used varios for sale. Both of them are older models but well
maintained and fully functional. One is a Flytech, and the other is a Brauniger.
either for $175.

I have a new Mac Para medium flight suit for $230 ($60 off retail).

Also, a Mac Para Mafia large flight jacket. $125, normally $190.

One Mac Para Aegis 38 reserve parachute in container. Never been deployed, but
several years old, like new. $250, retails for over $550.

Happy holidays!

Andy,
it started to open and gave me an error.  The other links seemed to open ok.  Maybe it's on my end.

Thanks for the compliment about being a copy editor.  I just know how some things don't translate well thru Babelfish.  English is a very complex language.  I love Chinese manuals the best.

I would consider moving/adding the Green Eagle link to be an additional link
under the Motor's category.

Also, on both my home and work PC's under Internet Explorer, the top buttons on
the right side for "Home" and "Contact Us" do not display any text when the
cursor is not over the buttons. When the cursor does move over the button, the
icons change, but you only see about 1/2 of the top parts of the text.

It's good you stayed on the ground.

Yesterday, there was a pilot flying a Manta 503, a delta wing with a Rotax 503
engine, that hit power lines in Magnolia about 5:30 pm. The Houston Chronicle
story is at:

The FAA has launched an investigation since it was a N-numbered aircraft. With
all the fog we have had in the area, I wonder if he was trying to stay under the
fog bank and hit the power lines, or if he had other issues that caused him to
hit the power lines.

LOL, This is a situation where Guinness World records will not allow me to
publically announce this as of yet so I can not divulge any specifics about this

hope that One of these Four days will allow this to happen.

Andy,

I happen to really like your new website!! I especially like the video from
Vimeo showing the Mac Para Promo!! It looks very comprehensive and easy to
navigate and the part I like the BEST is that it gives a phone number to call
unlike your previous website!! Heheheheheee

Wind at the Levee is 8 to 8mph at NE. I'm heading down there for an evening
flight

Yes, that is the 'free energy' powered I Flyer which doen't even need a prop. It
will only fly pilots under 230lbs. Sorry, Beery.

Andy,
under the HE engine description, it must be a typo.

"For this reason, event when adapted, traditional engines found on the market, do not meet all these pre-requirements.

Should read: "even" instead of "event".

"we do not intent to rest "on our laurels":

Should read:  "we do not intend to "rest on our laurels"

The Max II  must be a really HOT set up...

Power Max II is identical in "peperformance" the Gold units.

And my friend, how exactly how is an engine respectful of the wing it drives?

Some things just don't translate well.

There was also a glitch opening up the Green Eagle link

Nice descriptions and pics.  Nice site overall!

See Ya, Showtime

Jim

I would update the Iflyer photo. $4950 for just a frame seems a bit expensive,
or is that the invisible engine model? <grin>
